The narration provided by the interpreter is very impressive. It is so clear and well measured making the discourse of His Holiness so pleasurable and enjoyable to listen to. I find that monks have very high intellect, maybe because they possess very clear minds. I wonder who the interpreter is.
We all have high intellects. Monks clear their gardens of weeds which then leaves the garden free to grow what the monk cultivates. It all starts with weeding your garden.
Long live his holiness Dalai Lama. With respect, to scrutinize and debate with the teachings. Not all people have nurturing, loving mother's or parent's. My mother was a violent abusive catholic alcoholic. I survived over 40 years of violence enforced by corrupt U.S. police. That has lead to me being a refugee in exile in Canada. The compassion and respect for life I try to have, the more I keep getting starved and criminalized. My kindness is repeatedly mistaken for weaknesses and exploited. I can be happy mentally while starving and watching the cat that chose to stay with me be exterminated. Just because I can still be mentally happy while we're being exterminated doesn't mean I've caused any good. the opposite seems to be true, I'm being exterminated for trying to have compassion and respect for life. While the corruption and suffering grows from it. Trying to follow the Dharmma has only given me homelessness starvation and what appears to be my extermination. Let's put it to the test, Dalai Lama? I'll go to every Buddhist temple in Calgary Canada, where I'm a refugee. Will any of them let me and Sumo kitty(a Housecat that I can't find the lack of compassion to have put in cage and killed) become a monk to study the Dharmma and not be starved into extermination? Let's scrutinize and put it to the test Dalai Lama.

I love his holiness with all my heart. And say this with much sadness. As a man, I think the buddhist faith must consider a female dalai lama. This will prove to the world that buddhism is not sexist, and teach the world, sex does not matter. We all know this. But the rest of the religiuos world doesn't.
Sometimes harming or anothers suffering aren't actually their actions but to find out the source of such actions or feelings. If something is missing then someone or something must be deliberately causing this based on past actions or family history; this is caused by not letting go and/or another controlling your life for it to go that way by jealousy
