Wonder if those F1 Academy comentators would make sexist comments on the 50 trillion times Carlos, Charles, Lando and Fernando fix their hair during interviews. Rewatch them, all they do is fuss with their hair because like Swell said, it's hot and your hair gets messed up. Bob Varsha, Jon Massengale, and Jonathan Green never competed in their life in motosports. They're old ass men watching young people do everything they wish they could, and they sounded bitter as fuck about it.
It’s not even fixing actually, it’s a reflex that most if not all of us do when we take off any cap/hat of any type. Why comment on that when the person is going for a podium finish. Well we know why coz its a woman and therefore we must comment how vain they are
I listen to those guys and I'm really disappointed. Especially with Bob cause motorsports commentary is legend. The TH-cam commentary was really good shame that wasn't pumped trackside.
Yeah. Its so disappointing for me bc I grew up w Bob Varsha as the voice F1 on the speed channel way back in the day. I recognized his voice when I was at the race, but I couldn’t make out what they were saying (she is so right about the audio lol). Now I found out that this is what was said. I'm also an F1 Girly however as I'm also in Australia with f-all chance to really go to any F1 races because I have living expenses and don't want to go into insane debt to satisfy my urge to go to events... I live for these videos from Swell too. I wanted to basically cheer on the above comment as I relate.
@@VanessaChats I live near COTA. I had to sell my left kidney to see the race, and sell my right one to buy food. I can’t imagine having to pay for travel and hotels. Sending good vibes so you can go to a race soon!
A little while after starting to follow F1, I have been subscribed to some female F1 TH-camrs such as 'F1R the Girls' and 'Fan Behaviour: an F1podcast', which are amazing. They talk about the week's race, their predictions, and their thoughts on how F1 is evolving with the new tracks/environmental consciousness. I like other creators like LawVS (he's so energetic and respectful), but these girls have such a positive vibe both in content and when talking to their community, especially F1 newcomers. I highly recommend them if you haven't already heard of them. (I definitely would love to see more F1 female content creators and highlights on F1 Academy, especially since I didn't realize it was a thing before Jenny talked about it. As someone from Miami, I did not see ANY advertisement for F1 Academy which is a SHAME)
Katy Fairman, used to be part of WTF1 now is attached to Formula E and has an F1/racing Podcast called Small Torque Podcast. She's an absolute nerd for the Regs and has some great insights.
Not a racing fan but as a women's hockey fan for over a decade, watching Amanda run into all the stupid ways women's sports get treated, is darkly funny. From making it hard for fans to get to, to having condescending, ill-informed commentators and media, to not advertising the events properly... it's all so fucking familiar. (Maybe check out a PWHL game next season, Swell. It's such a huge step up in what things were like even last year I keep tearing up at games.)
So I'm REALLY into women's sports, esspecially basketball (it's debatable whether it's unhealthy at this point but whatever) and the lack of support for F1 Academy at this moment in women's sports history is SUCH a bone-headed move. Like, in the last year alone a new women's pro hockey league and a pro volleyball league have been created, the pro soccer league has two new expansion teams with plans to add more in the next few years, the pro basketball league is also planning to add 4 teams by 2028 and is starting their season literally tonight and viewership is expected to skyrocket, the women's college basketball final got more views than the men's final and was the most watched basketball game since 2019. Women's sports is blowing up right now and at this point, any league/sports organization that doesn't recognize that is stupid not to jump in.
@@sari9645 Same! I don't care at all about sports but I'm SO proud of all the women athletes! The women's basketball getting more views thsn the men AND being the most viewed game in 5 years is actually awesome!!
@@sari9645 a lot of people that thought they didn't like sports have been really enjoying women's sports leagues because it turns out, the issue wasn't they don't care about sports, it's that they don't care about men's sports. I really recommend anyone who "doesn't like sports" try to watch one women's game. The olympics this summer will be a great opportunity to do this with soccer and basketball especially, since loads of the stars will be on one team and if you decide you like a player, you can follow them back to their regular team. If you don't like it, then that's okay too, but I cannot stress enough how the discovery of women's basketball has ruined the NBA for me, so I get not liking the typical sports we've been shown.
I love that I'm getting defensive over the F1 Academy drivers after seeing Swell get frustrated! The only knowledge of F1 I get is from this channel but now I'm invested in seeing the F1 academy racers get their time in the spotlight
No one cares about the F1 academy. Its a token effort to replace the W series. None of the drivers will get into F1, if they were good enough they would be in F3, F2 etc
The issue of the F1 academy is that it will never be a feeder series just like W series. If you want women in motorsport you need to invest into very early karting, many women got into F2 and F3, which are the real feeder series
I think I could commentary on F1 academy better than these guys. I don’t know shit, but I’d be cheering them on and terrified they get hurt so - screaming and cheering for them.
The Vegas mistakes, while idiotic, could be written off as the expected growing pains during an event’s first year. But Miami has had a few years to work out the kinks, there’s no excuse at this point
In my understanding, part of the reason it was a mess is because the management of these events is also a mess of different organizations: FIA, FOM/F1 itself, F1 Academy, Miami GP, and Hard Rock are all separate entities with different responsibilities (sometimes overlapping) for various aspects of race promotion, venue security, event programming, broadcasting, onsite and televised commentary, etc. Not sure who dropped the ball here- could literally be all of them to various degrees- but 100% agreed on the disappointment in the way F1 Academy was promoted and presented, and especially in the embarrassing commentary. I'm an old school, male F1 fan from the Schumacher and Vettel days, but I'm a big fan of F1 Academy whose only complaint is that they should be doing even more to prepare the drivers for F1 (cars need more power and more aero). I'm a big fan of Bianca, Lia, and Abbi, they're all brilliant drivers and excellent role models who deserve to be treated better by the race organizers and the media. Eagerly awaiting the day when we see them on the F1 grid!
F1 Academy is in a weird spot. Yes, it's great to have development seats for women, and to be officially associated with the top level of open-wheel racing. At the end of the day, though, it's still F4. Things like Pulling winning in British F4 or Pin running in FRECA & WEC are way more important IMO. On top of all that, even if an F1 Academy driver were the greatest thing on four wheels, there aren't any seats in F1 for them, nor the possibility of any being available any time soon. Why spend extra money on preparing F4 drivers for F1 when four of the last five F2 champions don't have seats?
@@trev3971 Good point, and I don't disagree. That's where I was going with the "more power more aero" thing. So far, Liberty/FOM have done a good job of promoting F1 Academy and bringing visibility and attention to the category. But as you say, it's still just F4. I don't know how they'd do it, but they need to bring the formula closer to F2 spec, so it could serve as a true finishing school for women drivers, and also silence all the critics who say "sure they can drive glorified karts but girls still can't handle F1 cars". This wouldn't be a silver bullet, but it would get us closer. It's true that even being an F2 champion is no guarantee of an F1 seat, but if you look at this year's super-silly season, there is loads of potential movement in the F1 driver market, with F2 stars like Bearman, Antonelli, Lawson, Pourchaire, and Drugovich being realistically floated for 2025 race seats or already serving as reserve drivers this year. Imagine half of those names being women graduates of F1 Academy- that's the goal we should be working toward in the short term.
Even if they are all seperate entities, they have a WHOLE ASS YEAR to figure things out, surely they would have at least tried to communicate a little bit
After hearing about how crazy American F1 fans can be, I would love to see you attend the Waste Management Phoenix Open. As someone who grew up with ties to the golf industry and PGA, the WM situation and it's culture has always seemed... downright insane to me when you compare it to almost every other tour event.
Biggest shock of this video is finding out you're 5'2". I have nothing substantial to add except that I continue to appreciate that you pay for things yourself so you can do an unbiased review.
I'd love your take on the Andretti drama. Teams trying to cap the number of teams on the grid to 10 as opposed to 12, congress getting involved, and Andretti just moving along like they have a spot reserved already.
f1 is still so elitist tbh. you get less points for indycar than f2 for your super license, and Thee colton herta was denied his and now we have a literal child (17 yr old) maybe getting one the next year. i don't remember who said it but they want american $$$, not americans
the FIA legit doesn’t get that andretti, an american car brand that belongs to a former f1 driver (!!!!!!), f1 driver being mario andretti himself, might actually push f1 into the american market. if they want american money, they should invest in the american market and americans themselves.
So disappointing about the drivers academy. That commentary bit makes me sick. My wife got a picture with Marta Garcia last year at COTA. So much potential there i wish more people would pay attention to it
Not to surprised to hear that their initiative to bring more women into the sport seems like more of a publicity stunt than a genuine effort. Boys club mentality.
If they can't compete in the main feeder series then they sure as hell won't be getting into F1, it's just a rehash of the other all female series that failed a few years back.
@@balthus9105Except that Pulling did get a seat in F4 because of her Academy ride and became the first female winner in F4 (the same car academy uses). So, clearly this does get them real opportunities at which they can really compete.

I've gotten more into F1 and I'm so glad you're already deep in it because I love hearing your takes/reviews, and when I saw McLaren's special visitor on top of the whole weekend itself, I couldn't wait to hear your thoughts 🥴

Hi. I was at the Miami GP as accredited Media. Excellent Video about the event from a Fan's perspective. Next event I cover is the Canadian GP, which is very different from Miami GP. I was glad the Miami GP was an actual F1 Race Weekend and not a Formula Max Race Weekend. However, it is still amazing to watch an F1 master dominate. The history books will remember such dominance and I will be glad to say I was there to witness it.
I’m a huge F1 fan and I really enjoyed your commentary! I’ve only been to one grand prix (COTA last year) and it changes the way you experience the sport. It’s baffling that the marketing for F1 Academy is so incompetent, but I also realize that corporate operations of this size tend to self fulfill their own prophecies; they aren’t used to a big turnout for feeder series, they don’t support them, then the data shows they don’t get a big turnout. The people making these decisions rarely step foot into the actual events and only look at numbers afterwards. Either way, I was really happy to see a new perspective on F1 since I’m used to more typical F1 focused channels that talk about tech upgrades and the driver market and not much else, so this was refreshing and a delight to watch.
because no one cares. It's a token effort. If the drivers were good enough they would be in the actual feeder series. There are good female drivers out there but most in academy would fail to get an F3 drive.
I’m so grateful the PWHL prioritized having women commentators for the inaugural season bc if they had men commenting like they did for F1 Academy, I’d have lost my everloving shit
I saw that Laura Winter replied to someone's comment about the f1 Academy announcers basically saying "thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'll take care of it". I've been to the Miami race every year, and each time it's hosted a W Series/F1 Academy race, the male announcers have been un-informed, sexist, and all around awful.
I've been an F1 fan for 24 years now and I've attended every year of COTA . I attended the first year of Miami and was hugely disappointed. The "beach" was BS I'm used to COTA where I can see 40% of the track and at the beach they've built the corner obstructing money grabbing BS in the center of the turn. Went on Friday sold Saturday and Sundays tickets never to return.
Now I know why I like your content and YOU. While having access to 'room where it all happens', you are still stressing out what failed in terms of safety concerns for racers/athletes. As someone attending sports events and seeing multiple times how bad management over the event put athletes at risk or at least in compromising/uncomfortable situations, I appreciate your view on this topic.
Talking about someone's background and family situation is something you do before or after a race, not during it! The sport I watch the most is cross-country skiing and sometimes the commentators talk about other things to fill the silence when not much is happening. I can't imagine that situations like that even happen in F1. Motorsport in general, and F1 in particular, is so fast!
I wish I could say I'm surprised by the sexist comments, sadly, I'm used to it. In the car and motorcycle scene it is still very prevalent but many are trying to be more positive and make more positive spaces there! I can't explicitly talk on the racing scene for either of them, but I'd imagine it works similarly, but I'm glad so many women are racing and doing well! It's so nice to see, having been in the car scene since I was a kid!
I'm also not very educated on F1 in the slightest so if anything comes off as offensive or ill-intented, that was not my intention at all and I apologize immensely
I don't like racing or cars, but I absolutely love hearing you talk and review everything about the events you attend. Thank you for always providing new insights and experiences for us to learn from through you!
I think I could commentary on F1 academy better than these guys. I don’t know shit, but I’d be cheering them on and terrified they get hurt so - screaming and cheering for them
@UTTP-142 i hope you can find hobbies that make you happy and fulfilled instead of... making potentially baller jokes. Amanda is a Baddie, but in the positive way so. best of luck! you deserve a happy life, but not at the cost of others. tho good engagement, why replying to my lil thingy is also funny
Love seeing content creators get into a sport I've watched all my life. Great coverage and good to see the way F1 academy was treated getting called out. Keep the F1 content coming 👍
i wish i had known that you were there it was my first race ever and we share so many of the same opinions!! one thing you didn’t mention: the employees were seconds away from heat stroke the entire time. from food service to the merch, i speak spanish so i got to talk shit with some of them and they had towels around their necks. the fans were even off INSIDE with no AC!!! would love to know if you noticed that while looking at merch
I'm into motorcycles and there's the same attitude of sexism and exclusion there too. Like, the shit dudes say about women while also acting surprised when women say they feel unwelcome... The number of clueless dudes who've tried to neg me about my bike while knowing exactly nothing...
I was initially super happy about Lando getting his first win, but then he talked about being honored to meet Trump and that just completely ruined the moment for me. On another note, great to see you put a spotlight on F1 Academy, I really hope it continues to develop and the drivers eventually race cars more in line with those used in F3/F2.
Lando isn't American, he doesn't follow American politics at all, the world does not revolve around the US. All lando knows is trump is a rich dude. Cut him some slack. You're giving these figures power by putting so much stock into the things they touch and breathe on.
The way I’m so tired with men being paid for discussing/commentating any women’s sports with nothing but apathy and disrespect. Like these women are insane and amazing it would almost be better to watch the race on mute
I was there and loved it all. Turn 1 seats were great!! The F1A starting before the opening time confused me to no end and was not appreciated. I came to see racing and I was denied my satisfaction 😑 The commentary I only caught a few of the bad takes but joked to my dad that they’d hear from Suzy and Laura 🤣 The heat was unreal even for someone used to 30c desert heat. The humidity is crazy and seems to amplify the sun. As a Max fan I did love to see Lando get his first but I was right with you thinking Max would pass lando and call it a day but we saw something special! My dad and I didn’t feel like exploring much, just there to see the racing, so we parked our behinds in the stands all day and getting food and drinks as needed. What was great was the Brightline shuttle busses (that were free) from Aventure to the track with just a bit of walking. Also I want to shout out the Ticket Assistance office and the GREAT service they gave us, Callighan you saved us!!!
Adding on I 100% agree with the screen problem. That was my wife and my biggest beef at the event when I went for its first year. Paid $900 a ticket and just one tiny screen to cover 3 grandstands! Also the local commentator they had for the event was absolutely terrible. Like he wasn't even talking about the race, just about meeting the drivers the whole time.
so cool to see you talk about F1 Academy because they deserve way more attention!! I watched the youtube broadcast with Nicky Shields and I thought she was an amazing commentator as always. I hope you will make a video of the indy 500 :)
I don't follow Formula 1 really but worked 2 years during the Dutch GP in the town around it. Hearing that there was a whole music festival at the Miami one sounds so over the top. People for the Dutch one here are only allowed to come by bike or train basically. Only people invited or planned with busses are allowed to be there driven. This is in huge part as there are only two roads leading to the town, a direct train from Amsterdam and maybe 5 different cycling routes mostly flanking the roads or through the dunes. If you have the option I would highly recommend the Dutch GP
I also went to Miami GP this year on a GA ticket. I completely agree with you that there aren't enough screens. My friend and I posted up on the Hard Rock Stadium balconies to watch the race. We had to sacrifice seeing the screens and hearing the broadcasters, but the area we were in had a great view of three turns. We used F1 twitter to know the details of what was happening on the track and that was a good system. We did the same for the sprint too and people around us were following on F1 TV and sharing what was going on. It was a bit annoying, but I paid to see fast cars in person and I was gonna see fast cars in person.
when I was a kid formula 1 used to race in Indianapolis and when they stopped racing here in 2005 because of tire issues that was a huge issue at the time and seeing that after two decades things haven’t changed is kinda crazy 😂
I was super stoked for Lando's win! And the reactions up and down the grid were great to see with other drivers congratulating him. Poor Albon with that lock-up and Magnussen taking out Logan though. I hope Williams can get it together.
Silly TH-cam drama brought me to your channel, but F1 analysis is what got me to subscribe. I really enjoyed this look into what it's like to attend an F1 race.
I was at turn 12 north beach grandstands across from the beach club area and spent some time in the arena watching f1 academy on sunday. Wish I'd seen you, would have said hi. Love the F1 content!
Great video! I have been to the race all 3 years and was in a focus group after this year’s race. Trust me, in the focus group, everyone said that they loved the academy. It was brought up multiple times by almost every group in the study. So maybe they’ll do better next year. The audio issues were also reported (they are also bad in the grandstands). Btw, there was only one Logan fan in that study… Just not a lot of Logan fans in Miami in general (Unlike in Japan, where everyone is a Yuki fan lol). I sat in the grandstands across from the beach, and the experience is sooooooo different. I often wondered if the campus pass/GA would be worth it. Wow! It sounds like such a rip off! On the grandstands, I get shade and 2 screens to watch the race… Plus, we have a great view of the action. I also love going on the track after the race to get a look at the podium. The parking is so well coordinated that, even though we park 6mi away, I was on a air conditioned in 23 mins on Sunday (this is after going to see the podium celebrations). Also, I had NO IDEA the F1 academy paddock was open to the public! Man, that’s great of you to bring that up! I sit very far from that area, but I wouldve made the trip to see the paddock. A final sad not from me, I grew up w Bob Varsha as the voice of F1 here in the states. He was the main voice for the speed channel before they were bought out. I was glad to see he was doing the local commentary again, but I couldnt really make out what he was saying bc the audio is so bad. Thats so disappointing to hear… But we had a lot of ppl in F1 disappointing us fans this season (Horner scandal, McLaren and Trump). Thanks for the video! Im going to watch your reviews of races I did not attend now lol
I was very disappointed when I heard via you about the F1 academy having basically no one in the stands for their first session…and then hearing the commentators being arses just makes my blood boil. I’m so glad that Susie and the F1 academy team unleashed their wrath…cos that’s not cool. And agreed that they should not have had people in while cars and trucks were rolling around…especially an hour before the race! Looks like I won’t be going to the Miami GP anytime soon for a race…doesn’t make me want to go! And I’m super happy about Lando winning!
I'm one of your regular fans, I love your F1 videos because they clearly make you happy! And you have great energy in these videos. Swell Entertainment indeed
I was at Miami all days for the last 3 years. I go to COTA every year since 2012, the percentage of females in attendance is steadily rising and informed! It’s really encouraging to see. Both are fun - have different vibes, but fun in their own way. Your truths are spot on.
Maybe this is just me but honestly, I feel like the only way Bob Varsha, Jon Massengale, and Jonathan Green could have been any more misogynistic is if they just straight up said something to the effect of "women should be slaves" or something. Like. Everything they were saying (in the version of commentary that played for in-person viewers such as yourself that is, of course) basically just translated to "Wtf has this sport come to? Now they're letting WOMEN be the focus???". So glad everyone's called them out, they should honestly just be fired & black-listed.
As an Indy resident I am extremely excited to see you are coming to the Indy500! I have been trying to get you to come to GenCon here for a while now. It is a GIANT gaming convention and totted as the biggest! I do massage there every year and I always thing it so well run compared to all the events you visit I would love your thoughts on it!
More Swell F1 content is so good. So so good. Also I don't know if you're interested in sports car racing/prototypes but surely at some point you have to go and see the 24h of Le Mans, no? If there was ever a time to go watch a bunch of prototypes bully some GT3s for 24h this is like the golden age of WEC. Plus-and-also: Iron Dames. I do wonder about F1 Academy and honestly given the lack of attention it was given in the first year (arguably it could be said "oh it was in order to let it get settled") but it still feels like it's being given a "sink or swim" treatment as a series. ...also honestly I wish they had something other than those F4 cars. It feels like anyone who hasn't seen F1 Academy before is just instantly going to have a negative reaction just on the basis of the cars.
I think you should go to a Formula Drift event! I they’re not affiliated with F1, and it’s drifting instead of racing- which is way more exciting and interesting (in my opinion) I’ve been to a few in St. Louis, it’s really fun!!! It’s actually well organized and the planning feels like they really had the fans in mind.
I am OBSESSED with motorsports (nascar is my true love but I follow F1 as well) and it’s so refreshing to get to watch another woman who loves racing when the fanbase and commentary sphere is overwhelmingly male-dominated. Please keep making these, it’s so appreciated by us racing girlies!!! I adore this sport and love watching you enjoy it too ❤
I was at the Miami GP, but had grandstand tickets, I'm not sure I would do the GA, not great viewing areas for the cost. I just wanted to come and complain that the F1 Academy paddock was not on the map for the event on paper or in the app, AND the onsite people who were there to help with directions had no idea that it even existed. I had to ask other fans in a whatsapp group where it was. SO DISAPPOINTING. Also doing the free park and ride shuttles for Miami is the move.
Also I would love to see you go to a crazy short track race in the south. It would really open up a window in to something a lot of people don’t know about! I love south Boston speedway in VA
Again, I wish I could talk to you and pick you brain on your experience at the GPs you have attended.... thank you sooooo much for these F1 videos! I am hoping to attend a GP in the next couple of of years. (I attended the UK GP almost ten years ago!)
Amanda, this week end, Monaco GP + Cannes Film Festival with the Roy Cohn/Trump Film. Matrix Lawrence Fisher was there, Francis Ford Coppola was there, Jane Fonda, Richard Gere, the Star Wars guy I don't know his name and many more. And the weather is very nice.
Kym lllman, the photographer that took that photo you showed (guess you know him) said in one of his videos, that when he published that photo saying "DP was a McLaren guest" ppl from the team called him to clarify that he was not, asking him to correct that. The Miami GP organization put him there, McLaren just had to complied.

How wonderful that women’s sports is getting bigger! I wish I liked sports just so I could support women’s sports leagues

@@Sbinott0 People on here just don't get it.
Long time watcher. First time commenter.
All drivers “fix” their hair after a race. That commentator was on one.

@@glimmick SuperFormula gets less license points than F2, F3 and F3 this is ridiculous lmao.

I’m always waiting for my dose of Amanda’s “abundantly clear” each video
Clearly, your presence is why the races were so good.
I've been to the Miami race every year, and each time it's hosted a W Series/F1 Academy race, the male announcers have been un-informed, sexist, and all around awful.
as someone watching all of f1 academy live i was really confused why the first free practice everything looked closed
"putting the fear of god and Tommy Hilfiger pressed white shirts in them" underrated line

I wouldn't give much thought to Lando saying anything about Trump. What was he supposed to do? Lando's media training activated, that's it.
i dont even care about F1 but i will be tuning into amanda`s uploads no matter what
Man a channel with nothing but F1 content would be amazing. This is great insight for a fan who would want to one day visit a race other than COTA
I came to see racing and I was denied my satisfaction 😑
The commentary I only caught a few of the bad takes but joked to my dad that they’d hear from Suzy and Laura 🤣
The heat was unreal even for someone used to 30c desert heat.
I WAS SO HYPE WATCHING THIS RACE. Lando is my favorite driver since I started watching 3 years ago
Adding on I 100% agree with the screen problem. That was my wife and my biggest beef at the event when I went for its first year. Paid $900 a ticket and just one tiny screen to cover 3 grandstands! Also the local commentator they had for the event was absolutely terrible. Like he wasn't even talking about the race, just about meeting the drivers the whole time.
we were at the grandstands across from 'the marina' (the fake water with yachts)
so cool to see you talk about F1 Academy because they deserve way more attention!! I watched the youtube broadcast with Nicky Shields and I thought she was an amazing commentator as always. I hope you will make a video of the indy 500 :)
As someone in her 50's named McLaren, I couldn't be more disappointed that he was a guest of McLaren F1. I hadn't realized that.
I was there on Sunday! Was amazing seeing Bianca get a podium and Lando get his first win!
The lack of coverage or fan accommodation for F1 Academy is disappointing, but it's been like that forever with support series.
it was so nice to meet you at the grand prix!!!😭 i wish i could have given you some bracelets i was trading! lol!!
You should go to Formula E in Portland!! It's around the end of June!
I'm so excited to hear your opinions of the indy 500!! it's definitely an interesting (but very fun) time!
The way your bangs moved when you got into your car was so funny 😭 you didn't even notice lmfao
R/woosh
I also went to Miami GP this year on a GA ticket. I completely agree with you that there aren't enough screens. My friend and I posted up on the Hard Rock Stadium balconies to watch the race. We had to sacrifice seeing the screens and hearing the broadcasters, but the area we were in had a great view of three turns. We used F1 twitter to know the details of what was happening on the track and that was a good system. We did the same for the sprint too and people around us were following on F1 TV and sharing what was going on. It was a bit annoying, but I paid to see fast cars in person and I was gonna see fast cars in person.
Loving this new direction of the channel! Haven't had this much fun since Amanda's niche convention reviews 👌👌
I love starting work and seeing a new Swell vid is up, time to draw and listen!
when I was a kid formula 1 used to race in Indianapolis and when they stopped racing here in 2005 because of tire issues that was a huge issue at the time and seeing that after two decades things haven’t changed is kinda crazy 😂
Holy cow you are a busy person. As an F1 fan, this was definitely informative. Good stuff.
I was super stoked for Lando's win! And the reactions up and down the grid were great to see with other drivers congratulating him.
Poor Albon with that lock-up and Magnussen taking out Logan though. I hope Williams can get it together.
You should invest in headset and a scanner you can listen to the drivers radio as well as the race broadcast from radio or tv….total game changer
Silly TH-cam drama brought me to your channel, but F1 analysis is what got me to subscribe. I really enjoyed this look into what it's like to attend an F1 race.
these prices for the american grand prixs are absolutly insane, diabolical.
Im going to watch your reviews of races I did not attend now lol
i got into f1 late last year and seeing you also be into the sport and attending so many races is awesome
Your truths are spot on.
i hope you're doing well with treating those sunburns btw, they look painful :[
Bianca B! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 ! First podium of the season. McLaren had a fantastic showing.
I love how all of a sudden I am the number one F1 fan when and ONLY when I’m on this channel lmao

Hearing you talk about the commentators reminded me of that Chance the Rapper SNL skit. “Like they say in racing… let’s go play some racing.”
