Wow nice Video and build, really enjoyed watching this. Playing Stoneshard since Xmas24, atm i am doing a dagger/sword dualwield build, lvl 27 atm. Fun build too. Could i ask a question, is there a difference to put the sword in the main hand and the dagger in the offhand and vice versa. My builld focus the flurry strikes and the dual wield tree, sword is for oncharge
In this case, yes. There is a slight difference, but quite minor since if the DW tree will compensate for the difference. If you put your sword in your off-hand, and then do Onrush, your damage should be lower than if it was in your main-hand. However, once you do do that, the Dual Wield Training passive (assuming you must have taken it as a DW build) will buff your off-hand efficiency, making it almost equal to your main-hand efficiency. So by that point, it doesn't really matter in my opinion. Also minor difference is the amount of stats you get out of each weapon. If you favor the stats more from the sword (e.g.) and you put it in your off-hand, you gain less of that stats (until you start popping off and using skills to trigger Dual Wield Training).
You will have higher protection and take less damage overall, so its a defense vs offense question. You will also have higher fatigue since you are donning heavy armor, meaning your energy will drop alot faster throughout fights. Worst of all, you also will have insane repair bills.
Not only fatigue, but heavy armor is not really viable unless you invested quite a few points into vitality to offset the energy regeneration maluses, otherwise you'd not have enough energy past the first few skill uses in combat.
@@Skrymasteryeah they make the heavy armor so bad thats you need to take point in to vit to off set the negate energy its have and the price and repair are much worse more i don't think that really any strong build rn gonna using full heavy armor ever
@ Not really.... Heavy armor is actually "so good" that thats actually why you should take some points in Vit to consider using it. All my Stoneshard gameplay videos (that are melee builds), in truth, can be tweaked to incorporate heavy armor to be abit more optimal. Any build I make that uses light armor will always have that slight chance of RNG, for a really bad day. Heavy armor reduces that RNG if you know what you are doing, which is the biggest advantage you can gain from a game like this. The repair bills are high though lol
@ I didn't claim it's bad. I said it's not viable without those vitality points invested, whereas other builds can commit them elsewhere. I fully agree that plate armor is more consistent in its' performance. Negative dodge means you're more likely to be hit by enemies, but the damage will be much lower, comparatively to light/medium armor, so it's easier to predict and plan ahead.

Fkn hurricane Yorgrim build, awesome!😊
So, why do you need flail for undead?😮
Undead skeletons are weak to Crushing Damage, so flails/maces are great against them.
Thank to build, but i have question. What difference would it make if I built like this but used heavy armor?

I wish I was man enough for a high-octane build like this lmao
