This massive show of force included 10, 000 vehicles, 150 aircraft and 65 ships from 28 countries all being shipped to Norway to take part. And for some reason they've allowed VICE's resident dickhead Alhan Gençay to come along for the ride. Will they be able to craft his pathetic millennial character into a noble fighting machine?

Like do they think they will have some effect by making fun of military like this? Military don't care. Heck if they are being funny guys like this, then they aren't asking the real hard questions the military rather not answer. Grunts probably had a good laugh of this guy bumming around. Escorting him probably saved them from some other assignment.

This is more relevant to the UK watchers. He annoyed me until I got the act. It's not meant to be a hugely informative piece. Just a different perspective. You're not gonna learn secrets from these pieces, that's the point why the UK military allowed it.

There are a lot of haters leaving comments. I am a US veteran and I thought it was pretty funny. I loved working with the Brits and in general they had a pretty good sense of humor. As for the Butterball, give him a US visa, me a general POA and 10 maybe 12 weeks and my friends at Fort Jackson or Fort Benning could turn him into a Soldier. He would no longer be this over weight selfish, lazy individual with high blood pressure but a fit motivated selfless team player ready to fight and kill on the modern battlefield.
As an ex Blackwatch infantry soldier in the British army I can say without a shadow of a doubt, if the Royal Irish had really had him for a day, the comedy would probably not be flowing as thick an fast as it was, he'd be blowing out of his arse like his lungs were attached to his colon hahahaha.
Stick him in the middle of some REAL training and exercises. No camera or microphone. Just a lot of humping gear and weapons and kicking in doors. But this looks like it was more for entertainment purposes.
