Adding Mohair to a Model Horse Part 1- Gluing

Welcome to my art channel! I’m Hannah Beth. I enjoy customizing model horses, painting with acrylics and drawing. In this video I wanted to do an overview of how to add mohair to a model horse. This is something you have to do a lot of searching to find info about so I thought I’d shed some light on it. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions. i have been doing this technique since the early 1980s. this is the best video i have seen so far, that shows pre making 'tufts' of hair (rather than gluing tufts direct to the horse) this technique will result in alot less hair shedding after its dry and combed out. The Fabri tack glue is very close to the old formula of 527 glue that used to be best for this process. Great video .
