    First of all hats off to you my brother for walking all the way to up to McLeod Ganj from Lower Dharamshala . That’s must be a hell of an experience for you.

      Hehe.. it was quite a hike. But the views on the way made up for the toil.

    • @tashix4672
      @tashix4672 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      To DC traveler, Mr & Ms Gya wants to say “Hats off to you” as we often hear “heads off” in India and subsequently write or type the same what we hear mainly to do with Indian accent.

    • @DCTravelerExperience
      @DCTravelerExperience  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hehe I got it

    • @MrMsGya
      @MrMsGya 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tashix4672 hahah hats off is definitely the correct word mate , not sure What was going on in my head that time that I end up writing heads off instead of hats off 😬😬😬. Silly me . However, it definitely has nothing to do the Indian accent . It’s corrected now. Thanks for the buzz !

    Thanks for your generous words for Tibet and Tibetans. As your and my thoughts are different but for us the Tibetans, we are immensely grateful to the people and Government of India, despite difficulties faced by Indian public, India never neglected welfare of Tibetans, therefore our leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama has always mentioned that he is a son of India. We truly believe that majority of Tibetans think that way. Any how we will never forget this great and sacred nation BHARAT MATA as our second birth place. Thank you India.

    Few recommendations for places to visit.
    1) Dalai Lama temple, which is walking distance in Mcload Gang.
    2) Bagsunag Waterfall. This is 15 min cab ride, but an hour hike uphill to beautiful water fall.
    3) Dharamsala cricket stadium for any Cricket Fans, where many IPL matches and International Test matches are hosted. This is about 1 hour taxi ride.
    4) Norbulingka Institute, which is beautiful tibetan craft and art center. This is an 1 hour taxi ride.
    5) The Other Space
    is cozy cafe with view. been hearing good things about it.
    6) Tibet Museum
    - Small but informative museam to visit, in walking distance.

    11:48 this is the Gate Way to Central Tibetan Administration (CTA). It is like the acting Government of Tibet set up in India. In Tibetan we call it Khang-Chen-Kyi-Shong . I wish you could have visited this place once. You will get to see all of our Top officials there .
