R9 was a disappointment for me. I love my CP3 engine and think it has enough power, but just wanted the R9 to look better than it does. There's a weird gap above the engine from the side and you can see straight through to the other side, they should have redesigned the exhaust, even just giving it a little spout like the old XSR900, and also think they should have made it keyless like the MT09SP.
lol yall are so annoying with this gap above the engine. The gap is covered with a pair valve system! Look at 44teeths video on it. There is no gap for the street version!! My god 😂
I feel the same for the XSR 900, best looking being the 125, the 700 just about, the 900 not really. R series, I think the R7 looks the best of them all R9 and XSR 900 have the same thing going, they look busy and all the little bits and pieces ultimately just don't click together for my eye, bit of a mess. Still think the R9 is gonna be a great bike, can't wait for the reviews.

That gap is only for the track version
