Btw the Vegepygmies are from the Barrier Peaks adventure, it was that original 1E adventure they first appeared in! As cute as they are, the way they reproduce is pretty grisly, the Russet Mold hazard spores can basically infect people and they will eventually die and spawn Vegepygmies, while animals infected turn into Thornies. I think the Grim Champion of Bloodshed is from the Book of Many Things actually. And the Eldritch Lich is from the Speljammer Monstrous Compendium Appendix - this is the first time Wizkids has done a mini from the web supplements (well, second if you count the Crabfolk). I am happy about it, those supplements had a lot of cool Spelljamer and Dragonlance creatures.
Thanks as always Theo! I think my favorite is a toss-up between the Water Weird and the Eldritch Lich. I've always been a fan of the translucent minis and the sculpt on the Water Weird is just excellent. The Eldritch Lich gives me the heebie-jeebies' just looking at it, and I'm sure it would do the same for my players. Great boss monster mini.
My favorite has to be the Chuul. I love Aboleths, and Chuuls are their servants. So I wanted to run a part of my campaign where they face an Aboleth with loyal Chuuls, but I was always disappointed that there was never an official mini for Chuul for the 5e minis, well until now I guess lol. So my party better be ready now, or soon at least.
I was going to say the vegepygmy's were my favourite as I love "Expedition to the Barrier Peaks", but then you unboxed the Eldritch Lich... while I don't give a fig about Spell Jammer, I'm all for anything connected to the Far Realm. Definitely the Eldritch Lich is tops in this batch.
I love the paint job of the clay Golem, but the Leprechaun because it reminds me of a green version of Mung Daal from the amazing world of chowder. I JUST Made it to the eldritch Lich and my god they killed with that mini
Oh there are some good ones! My initial pick was the Blood Champion, but then you unboxed the Eldritch Lich. Although the swarm of Gibberings is pretty darn cool too! Ugh! 😂 I’m gonna go with the Eldritch Lich I think.
The Eldritch Litch is my favorite because it is just elegant enough to be a ✨ villain ✨ rather than just a monster, a boss, or a bad guy. That, and it makes for some good nicknames: Eldlitch, Il-litch-id, or tick off a githyanki and call her "The Hotter Vlaakith."
There are a few standout minis to me. I'm a big fan of the Minotaur in this set. I hope to run the Dragonlance Shadow of the Dragon Queen campaign in the future and having a Minotaur mini would be great if a player wants to run one as their character. The Sabertooth Tiger also caught my eye because my first D&D character could shape change into one.
08:41 - It1s actually pronounced Pekh. It comes from the german word meaning misfortune, bad luck, etc! Even we in hungary use the word. Yeah they are fey Earth spirits, and they have a magic dance which summons Earth Elementals.
Yay, thanks for the unboxing! I am definitely looking forward to this set. Via various unboxings we already know most of the set distribution, which is a bit better than Vecna's, though I feel the Chuul and Chasme really should not have been Rares, given how you can encounter multiples of them. The Vegepygmies are a great improvement over the ToA ones (also, bit surprised in today's PC culture that is a name WotC can still use.) Really loving the Bunnyoid and Giant Toad, they are pretty cute and funny. All the Large Uncommons are very good and useful. I have waited like ages for there to be some Water Wierd minis. And finally a proper non-Rare Invisible Stalker. The Rug is way too small for a Large, though. The Leperchaun is... well, certainly unique, but I much prefer the more traditional looking PFB version. Androids are cool. They are close enough to the original 1E adventure but the heads do remind me of Cybermen. Just a correction, they are called Gibberlings not Giberrings. A fun fact about them - they originate from a HP Lovecraft novel, Lurking Fear, where they are the subterranean, deformed cannibalistic offspring of the inbred Martense family, who will run rampant and devour everything during thunderstorm. They are prevalent in the Baldur's Gate 1 game. The swarm is an... odd mini to say the least. I would have preferred more 3D Gibberlings and less 2D ones. I guess one can put the singles on the base.
Thanks for your comments and interesting info as always, Commander! Ahg, thanks for the correction on the Gibberlings. That’s what I get for trying to film and edit that video all in one day! That swarm is definitely an interesting choice. I do like it, but yes, it (and the rug) should have been larger!
Love me the Chuul. Looks like a set with a disappointing amount of very specific minis that won’t necessarily see a lot of play. Better than the 50th Ammiversary set, and I will buy the usual case, but still.
At first the eldritch loch was my favorite and he’d fit so well into adventures I have for my players but when that cute lil bunnyoid came out he became my favorite I’d be afraid to use him tho I only use minis for combat and I’d be so sad if he ever died seems like it’ll be a great set over all this time
Love the minotaur, gibberings, saber tooth tiger! This isnt a factory set? Because this very set should have had a silver dragon wyrmling and a young black dragon
This set is way I skipped the plane scape set. The common minis in this set are way more useful in multitudes. And the weird ones are awesome especially as some could be used in Starfinder 2e

Eldritch Lich for the WIN!!! Would be great with any Lovecraftian story.
The Eldritch lich has such a distinct and horrifying sculpt that it has to be my favorite
Btw the Vegepygmies are from the Barrier Peaks adventure, it was that original 1E adventure they first appeared in! Yay! Number one. Love the base inclusion on the Swarm of Gibberlings.
Great way to do swarms!!
Love the rug of smothering !!would like to see more like the mimics for scattered terrain elements that can be a possible encounter.
I'm agreeing with the crowd. That Eldritch Lich just looks so great. Never seen one like that, great BBEG mini.
The eldritch Lich looks incredible! Such a perfect dungeon fiend!
It's a tie between the Eldritch Lich and the Leprechaun...But the whimsical side wants the Leprechaun
The bunnyoid is basically a wolf in sheep clothing 😂 it's a monstrosity in mimic-style
My favorite is the little cockatrice, it looks just adorable.
The Grim Champion is from the Book of Many things, and the Eldrich Lich is from the free spelljammer creatures supplement on dnd beyond.
I love the Bunnoid, and the rug of smothering are my favorite models.
So many of these are perfect for starfinder! So glad we're finally getting some sci Fi minis
My favorite is Narik, and I love the idea to pair the adventure and mini reviews together!
yha that leppercon is one of the best wizkid minies of all time. I love his glasses!
That eldritch lich is awesome, definitely my favorite especially with that translucent bit
what a good set!! i was having trouble picking a favorite until the Bunnyoid appeared. so adorable! im excited to see all of them now
Grim Champion of bloodshed is the best by a longggg shot !! One of the coolest I have seen in awhile .
The Lich or the Minotaur have my vote. I do like seeing more minis for Egyptian type adventures
That eldritch lich is alot better than i was expecting! really a great mini among other great minis
This was a great set of minis. Have to say the bunnyoid was the cutest.
The Eldritch Lich is my favorite sculpt from this set, hands down. A nice second would be the Water Weird
I love the translucent minis like the water weird! I put them over an LED puck to have them glow different colors! Great videos!
My favorite mini is the Rug of Smothering. It's the monster than began my love of contruct class creatures.
I adore the troll. Trolls are a favorite DnD encounter of mine, since I didn't know the trick about acid or fire.
I have 2 this round , The Eldritch Lich and the Bunnyoid . The sculpts and paint jobs are great .
Love that leprechaun. Unique hair or hat action going on there.
The eldritch lich is my favorite I love the tentacle coming out of his chest!
That water weird is great. Especially with how many there are in the adventures
The Eldritch Lich is very cool! Tentacles are always a win!
Love the Troll and Minotaur, and will never say no to the goat or saber tooth!
I really like the Grim Champion of Bloodshed mini, the different colored flames are pretty nice.
My favorite mini is giboring combo. Always cool to see something new
The Eldritch Lich would go perfect in my Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign. The Swarm of Gibberlings is the most unique mini and therefore gets my vote
Oh there are some good ones! My initial pick was the Blood Champion, but then you unboxed the Eldritch Lich. Although the swarm of Gibberings is pretty darn cool too! Ugh! 😂
I’m gonna go with the Eldritch Lich I think.
It’s so cool to see a water weird for once. I don’t think this has been a mini yet.
Like that thick troll, but the eldritch lich is really awesome.
These mini's are epic, Can't wait to get my hands on these
The Eldritch Litch is my favorite because it is just elegant enough to be a ✨ villain ✨ rather than just a monster, a boss, or a bad guy. That, and it makes for some good nicknames: Eldlitch, Il-litch-id, or tick off a githyanki and call her "The Hotter Vlaakith."
Fave has to be the eldritch litch. I've wanted a mini of it ever since it debuted in the Spelljammer creature compendium pdf.
Either the Leprechaun or the Rug of Smothering ♥️
For me it has to be the Chuul, it reminds me of a dancing lobster from the Amanda show and growing up that’s what I wanted to be 😂
That water weird is cool as heck.
Good stuff guys!
Fingers crossed for a booster
08:41 - It1s actually pronounced Pekh. It comes from the german word meaning misfortune, bad luck, etc! Even we in hungary use the word. Yeah they are fey Earth spirits, and they have a magic dance which summons Earth Elementals.
Oh thank you! That’s a new one for me! I’ll do my best to pronounce it correctly on the full set video!
Been wanting a good chuul for quite some time. The Narik looks sweet!
That Bunnyoid is just too cute, but I kind of hope it's some psychic monstrosity CR15 or something
Eldritch Lich definitely needed. Solid minis in this set
Good stuff sir! Elde itch Lich for the win!
My favorite is that grim champion of bloodshed! It's cool seeing a female presenting skeleton champion!
Not gonna lie, that Eldritch Lich looks pretty rad.
Call me basic, but I really dig that new Troll sculpt! Thanks for doing a giveaway!
Ooh a chuul that's a neat looking creature
Favorite- Water Weird - it takes me back to 1st ed Dnd days!
That eldritch lich mini is awesome.
Yay, thanks for the unboxing! I am definitely looking forward to this set. Big fan of the Water Weird. Mini Ive wanted for a while.
My favourite has to be the Narik, because I’m a student of archaeology so it’s right up my ally
Big fan of the android, like them because they can be used as animated armors or shield guardians.
Love me the Chuul. Looks like a set with a disappointing amount of very specific minis that won’t necessarily see a lot of play. Better than the 50th Ammiversary set, and I will buy the usual case, but still.
the goat! because its a classic
Grim Champion of Bloodshed is awesome!
At first the eldritch loch was my favorite and he’d fit so well into adventures I have for my players but when that cute lil bunnyoid came out he became my favorite I’d be afraid to use him tho I only use minis for combat and I’d be so sad if he ever died seems like it’ll be a great set over all this time
Like the Eldritch Lich and the Water Weird best I think. But a lot of nice minis in thi set.
All hail the Hypno-Frog!
I would say the Minotaur or the clay golem
Thanks for the opportunity
Love your channel❤
Love the minotaur, gibberings, saber tooth tiger! This isnt a factory set? Because this very set should have had a silver dragon wyrmling and a young black dragon
I really like the common Vegepygmy I love them as a lower level enemy so I’ll probly pick some up! Or win the giveaway : )
It looks like the Grim Champion of Bloodshed has oven mitts on.
p.s. Androids for Expedition to the Barrier Peaks would be my choice.
Nevermind, Swarm of Gibberlings is too awesome.
Hands Down the Eldritch Lich!
Fab mini? Eldritch Lich. So cool.
All these look awesome. My only complaint really is the gibberlings and the rug of smothering being on large bases. That makes no sense.
Water weird is cool and versatile as a humanoid I think
Giant Frog. Giant Frog. Giant Frog
Leprechaun is the best on this series
Ooh Kitty.... Sabertooth but still
Eldritch Lich,, nothing like combining aberration and undead
My players have trauma about Chuul's. Ran an encounter where between their paralyzing and being amphibious I accidentally TPKd them... oops!
This set is way I skipped the plane scape set. The common minis in this set are way more useful in multitudes. And the weird ones are awesome especially as some could be used in Starfinder 2e
Bunnyoid bunnyoid bunnyoid! Is it a vorpal bunnyoid?
Isn't curious that majority of minotaur miniatures use axes for weapons? It must be a favored weapon or something.
Eldritch lich no contest
Eldritch Lich
Can I have the chuul?
Random comment from a non-US earthling that has pesky laws, pffft.
