Hi Mikey. I'm a rabbit keeper. Noticed your set up which I know is temporary. The rabbits need good quality hay (like Tomothy hay). It should comprise 70% to 80% of their diet. They need a constant fresh supply. Then good quality pellets 10%. 20% fresh vegetables, dark leafed greens ard good. I love your vlogs ❤
Pheasants are A LOT like chickens, they like to peck at the ground. However being too closed in will result in feather picking and worse.... They tend to be a bit nervous, especially at first. We kept a few pair for years, they just roamed around our farm. If possible they would do better if you can cage them in a bigger space, without a cage bottom and some straw or hay to get cozy and a small bush or two to have some place to hide away and feel safe (even during the quarantine period.) We always fed ours lots of veggie scraps from the kitchen, greens, and feed. It's so wonderful to see (1/2) the birds in the new aviary! Cant wait for the blue napeds to get over their suspicions and join them. Sometimes they are too smart for their own good lol
I'm so happy for the birds, too. They looked so beautiful beside each other with the acacia tree and the vastness of sky in the background. I love the perch.
Love the new birds! OMG Filbert! On one of the Filipino cable TV channels here in Toronto you see his name on everything (hosting, producing, directing) the man is like you Mikey, works non stop and provides so much content to the people. Love his shows on FTV. Great collab!!!
Wherever you hold the Pheasants you will need ground foliage. Pheasants need cover to hide under and feel secure. At the moment they appear stressed. In nature they hide in foliage.
Can't wait for you Mikey to setup a nice home for the rabbits and the pigs. It's nice if they have their own enclosures. With lots of hay and veggies! It's nice to watch them too during feeding time. Well if you decides to get more once you established a niver home for them! ❤
OMG!! So much adventure in this vlog, I’m already exhausted, LMAO! And the decoration adventure continues!! It all look great! OK, my guess… it’s the Travis family… it was pretty obvious. It’ll be awesome to see them again. How cool will it be to have your God Children hanging out on the farm. I’m cracking up at Sahara as she’s watching the pheasants… nothing is going to get by her, LOL. I continue to be amazed at how cognizant those birds are of what’s going on and, especially, with their connection to you. It’s like you’re the Parrot Whisperer, LOL. The little birds look great in their new home, I don’t really know but, it seems that was pretty easy to get them moved. I’m also cracking up that the Blue Napes aren’t falling for it… they saw their little buddies go into the cage, SLAM the door shut, ya’ll took the cage away and when it came back, no little birds… LOL yea, they’re not too anxious to get into the Disappearing Cage, LOL. ‘Ya know, I think if you put a blanket and some cat food on the hammock, Melody would get the hint and she’ll use it. Great vlog! Can’t wait for the next installment when we move the Blue Napes into the new Aviary… and what ever else is coming up. It’s getting close to Christmas… If we don’t have a vlog before then, Merry Christmas to you, Mikey and RJ, the gang at the Farm House and… Merry Christmas to the Mabuhay Squad!! The best online community ever! Stay safe and I’ll see ya next time.
Yeayyy I already know itsjudyslife the travis family will be visiting their favorite tito!! Can’t wait to see that vlog and for the best tito Mikey to meet Leah bear and Bella bear 🥰
I think the Golden Pheasants will do better in the outdoor aviary long-term once them and the parrots will get accustomed to each other if you choose to acclimate them there. For one, Golden Pheasants need to dustbathe and could make a mess on the floor of the indoor aviary if you'd place a pan with sand in it, and they apparently like to dustbathe in areas with plenty of sunlight, juast like their chicken relatives. Secondly, they could deter mice and small snakes from entering the outdoor aviary, since the bars of the cage seem big enough for a mouse or a thin-bodied snake to pass through. If the pheasants are in the outdoor aviary, the snakes and mice would not want to enter for fear of being eaten since pheasants will also eat small mammals and reptiles. Putting a pan of sand for dustbathing purposes in the outdoor aviary would make it easier to clean as well. By the way, looking at the Indoor Aviary, I think placing more bamboo in it will make it look attractive once you start planting it before adding smaller songbirds, as well as tall grass-like plants as most finches prefer open woodland and grassland habitat. Situating the panels around the glass viewing panels could also mask it from the view of the birds to prevent collisions if they get spooked for one reason or another even if they already know there's glass there after acclimation. Might be possinle to place such plants in the higher levels in the aviary as well could be possible.
Hey Mikey, Shouldn't you have some storm nesting boxes to put in the new outdoor bird cage incase of high winds or typhoons? Just a thought for you. Another thought would be to put a key lock on the outer door and maybe on the inside airlock door so that noone can open the cage and potentially let the birds out or otherwise. I highly doubt neighbours would do that but you know how some people can be. With the garden/ animal side of the property totally open to people being able to walk onto the property it might be a good idea.
From my experience owning parrots yoy can't add nest boxes as it makes birds hormonal, lay eggs, health complications and aggression as they will attack any bird that isn't their partner that gets close to the nest. Birds don't sleep in nests they only go in nests to breed/lay eggs. Better idea is like a shed/indoor part of the aviary
@@viperblackjewel3915 Hmmm I didn't know that about parrots, but it does make sense because they are territorial. I've only had small birds because I haven't been able to be home as much as parrots require. Thanks for the info.
Love the parrots exploring. I bet several play stands (3-4) made with branches where they can have food & toys would be great.... especially since you can roll them around to vary the environment. There can also be flat areas on the play stands where foraging & other toys can be placed. And... hanging toys around the new aviary will be so enriching. Glad to hear you mention a water festure/bathing area again.❤❤❤
I love your indoor aviary!! Any bird would be happy there! BUT these birds will also love the outdoor aviary. Can't wait to see what other birds you decide to invite into the into the house aviary!❤❤
I shared your enjoyment seeing the conures enjoying the outside aviary! Can't wait to see the addition of the Blue napes in there as well, much love 💚❤️🩵
Birds are so beautiful outside with background of the sky the big tree and I got excited for their transport and the branches are awesomely beautiful there.
Make sure that you take out all the leftover before the sun setd. Rats attack and can enter those tiny holes just like mine. Floor needs to be water hose to make sure no ants and rodents attack. It can cause night frights which leads to death so tes outdoor is nice but prone to preys. Mine is outdoor so I've learned my lesson.
Hi, finally they are outside now, wish come true 👍😊. Beautiful seeing from the room and the other's will get in there. Take care and be strong there not far from use 😊...
Very happy for your birds! If it rains hard, will the birds be guarded from the heavy rain? I love learning about different animals on your channel. You truly are a dose of positive vibes! Merry Christmas to you and RJ!
I would enclosed one small part eg near the door 0n 3 sides to shield them from wind too. Wind is a killer for birds. Love the massive run and perches.
Always looking forward to your new vlog. I love the new path walk around the pond. Can’t wait to see all the birds in their new home. Merry Christmas 🎄
Hello Mikey and RJ, I'm glad to see that your birds are transferred in their aviary outside/backyard.I love the whole progress of the Mabuhay farm house.Happy anniversary Mikey and RJ,may God continue to bless you good health and happiness, can I make I request pls.greet me today coz today I'm celebrating my birthday.thank you Mikey, can't wait to see the Christmas celebration together with your staff at your backyard/house.ICARE🙏🌷🌻🍎❤️
Hi Mikey from Seattle. You’re the best Bird/Animal Dad🥰. I love how you care for & love all your animals. You have the perfect property for them plus you have such a beautiful home. You have Ants Canada channel, maybe consider Birds PH channel. Your birds are so beautiful & will love their new home. It cracks me up how RJ is such a shopper. Love the consistency of your vlogs, you’re my favorite channel. Happy Holidays to you all🎄🎅🏽.
You need some planters in there with some plants like hibiscus and banana trees for them to chew up and have enrichment ... also you need shelter for them not nesting boxes . ... but a covered perching area.... cannot wait to see the pheasants in the atrium with some canaries zebra finches owl finches diamond doves button quail ...or California quail...
Are you adding more roofing or roof insulation on the new bird house? It might be scorching hot for them esp during summer. The bigger cage is directly under the sun.
Hi Mikey! Why don't you convert your indoor aviary into a butterfly garden? RJ will love filling it up with beautiful flowers🌺🌺🌺 and vines and a beauty to look at all the time!
Please Mikey! Put something on the mesh in the rabbits cage...Even of it only a temporary cage .. the mesh can permanently damage their feet and ability to walk and run comfortably.
The Travis family! Omg the kids will have so much fun in the farm house 😁 Also, just a mabuhay squad suggestion, I think it's a good idea to build a warehouse/storage for all the decors Rj is collecting 😅
Seriously, this is the only channel I wait for. It bring back the vibes of OG TH-cam vlogs.

Joyful tears. You both work so hard to make your animals as happy as possible. Amazing job 💚! Air kisses to your lil feathered babies.

I guess the Travis Family your next visitor.. ❤❤
I think they'd also probably need a shelter away from the wind too. Like during storms. Like an enclosed space. Maybe birdhouses even.
The birds are going to love their new home.
So excited to see your new aviary with jingle vibes. ❤

filling it up with beautiful flowers🌺🌺🌺 and vines and a beauty to look at all the time!
Happy Holidays Mikey and R.J.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
You might consider adding a dirt sand mixture to floor so they can take dirt bath. Plus add straw . They will really enjoy both
Also consider a mister. They will take bird baths in it
the TRAVIS family is the reason for me to follow your vlogs and i know that they have been talking about passports! so i hope its them!!!!
Hopefully the branches will not move when it's windy. Maybe you can put cement that look like wood color in the branches. It's just a suggestion.
Please Mikey! Put something on the mesh in the rabbits cage...Even of it only a temporary cage .. the mesh can permanently damage their feet and ability to walk and run comfortably.
