Awesome I’ve been waiting for this! 💯 Carno’s sound design is still really close to what it used to be, I never knew that! And carno has much better night vision than I thought o.0
@@SirPigeon420 I do too, I like things like ceratos new sounds but I miss its old 3 call lol, dilo also has some good sounds I think, didnt like the new 3 or 4 call at first but growing on me a bunch now
The growth time increase is what surprised me. I hope that gets scaled down when mid and apexes arrive, otherwise an Allo will take like 4h to grow with optimal diets - imagine apexes then. Also decreased hunger time feels like in Evrima I am permanently stressed about finding food, as I’ve been starving much more frequently than in Legacy…
The growth increase came from the last patch, it was 2:00h previously. And the same patch they increased hunger values, I think it used to be 45 min for carno
Comparing these games now is pretty brutal. I just had a thought regarding mechanics that might be quite cool but also a lot of work. If anyone has seen prehistoric planet you might remember the courting of the Carnos and how they gave a performance. It would be cool if better diets made your performance better and your primary mating colours more flamboyant. Just a thought. Also would love to see the funny arm waving from prehistoric planet.
The most detailed video of a carno I've seen. Good video. Got one on dilo? Especially the difference at night. I know they're stronger at night just not sure how.
Yes I have one on dilo and most of the dinos on the roster. You can check the whole playlist here th-cam.com/play/PLPjhw8w_5e3qzIOWikb7E95BGPa0A_Ajc.html&si=XTf8KqWvakB2wam1
Stam regen in Legacy is 6 mins resting and 12 mins standing, in Evrima it's 2.54 mins resting and 4.30 mins standing, the Legacy Carno has a slower speed and only has one attack, against the effectively 4 attacks in Evrima, there are other differences i.e. diets
@@smefour stam regen doesn’t matter since carno in legacy had almost twice the stam, and the speed also didn’t matter since legacy carno was already the fastest thing in the game, legacy carno had a powerful bite, EVRIMA carno, had a slow and kinda strong bite, and a dodgable charge that barely works
@@sem71st lmao no it’s not, i main carno and i don’t want to boost my ego or anything but i’d say i’m pretty damn good, and it is so boring and bad, cerato is so much better
the point is it's different in many ways, you even highlighted a few more things, btw sprint duration of Legacy's 3.40 mins to Evrima's 2.39 mins isn't close to double, unlike the Stam recover of about 2 to 3 times the difference depending on resting or standing @@ExposedSkinn

You I wouldn't expect you to be here 🤣 I agree tho a lot
tbh i'm glad they didn't change it too much

great comparison! a lot of people haven't even tried evrima since launch, and this is a great way to show how things have changed!

How will you do these comparisons later down the line if they remove legacy entirely
They’ve probably gone through and mass recorded everything before hand
@@cimpact6751 that's the only way and I can only hope they give a heads-up in advance before they remove legacy
Legacy threaten is better
fr
The Evrima broadcast call is better
Do Beipiaosaurus guide
Eventually I will, teno and deino are first on the list though
carno is so ass rn lmao, the glowup between legacy and evrima is mainly animations
