Germany's Rarest Tanks in War Thunder are usually exclusive vehicles that are Premium, Event Vehicles, Tanks that were removed due to historical inaccuracies, Tanks that were removed for balance reasons or Tanks that are just so expensive no one in their right mind should buy one!
So, in this series... I'm going to play EVERY single one of them. From the super heavy Maus and E-100 to the double barrel SPAA Flakpanzer 341.
For the first episode we're going to be playing the Tiger II 10.5cm! The Tiger II 105mm is essentially an upgraded King Tiger with a better engine, more crew and a bigger gun. Not only that, the King Tiger 105 has access to a range finder that gives you near perfect ranges for you to snipe your enemies from afar!
Let's see how the old top tier stacks up against the new kids on the block! :)

Especially since the Ostwind II, the replacement for the Flakpanzer 341 Coelian in the tech tree, didn't even make it past the blueprint stage.
At least the Coelian had a wooden mock-up of the turret was placed on a Panther D chassis & the 37mm guns it was going to use were actually produced, with 20,243 units made by the war's end.

it didnt get past ideas, all they had was a twin barrel 37 in an open turret, thats it, they didnt know if they were gonna go with the side by side 37, or the over and under 37. fun fact, the one we have in game is very unlikely to be the chosen option, because the only gun mount they had, was the german navies m42 guns. and the navy wasnt gonna give up any of their gun mounts.
so literally everyone about the tank we ahve is just fake. though funny enough, the coelian wouldnt have had this issue, due to using a completely new mount all together.
I still love bringing out my Panther 2/Tiger 105 Combo. Playing the 105 and smacking T34s straight through the turret mantle is serious fun

@@dustinontaiyabbi5608idk if I'm understanding you wrong but I'm pretty sure if you even have 1 rp on a certain vehicle that'll be taken off of the tech tree you can still research it even after the event is finished that's how i got my maus i put some rp in it when it's available just so it wouldn't disappear later after that i stopped researching it in favour of other tanks that i wanna unlock first

@@HiLower arent most of those actually built and put through trials? Obviously a big difference between that and actual production runs and service but not just a childs drawing or something some schmuck suggested
I often forget that the Sturmtiger is an event vehicle.....I see them everywhere, and I use mine just as frequently when I can.......but it's like the TOG 2, or any other one of those event grind vehicles......I wish they would just make all these event-exclusive ones unlockable like they do with the Maus.....it would be great to have mini-events where anyone can grind for a vehicle when it unlocks.......Like take a week off and grind the vehicle in any tech tree to permanently unlock it

Now if only Gaijin would add the Daimler-Benz entry into the VK 30 design contest, the VK 30.02 (D). It basically look like if you took a Panther, and fused it with a T-34-85.
There was one prototype built, but it never saw combat. And since we got the MAN entry, the VK 30.02 (M) several updates ago, I think it's only fair that another design model for what would become the Panther could/should be in the game.
Or the VK 30.01 (H), and they could add four different versions of it.
One with the long 75mm KwK 40, one with the 105mm leFH 18 howitzer, one with the short 75mm KwK 37, and one with the 50mm KwK 39.
My favorite is the VK 30.06 (H)

the tiger ii 10.5 is one of my all time favorites. The whole old 6.7 "prototype" lineup was god tier, and while im not opposed to the uptiers of all 3 vehicles, the br compression and severe power creep kills everything at this level.
When they removed HVAP from the 341 the coelian was finally used for the first time ever, because back then it had only AP, not HVAP, and gaijin didnt add electric turret drives to it until after the 341 was removed.
I made a comment on a Spookston video when he played this a while back sayin that this is the most satisfying tank in the game to play imo, and it still stands true. It reminds me of how heavies used to play way back in the day. Your armor is still pretty great when you play right, and if you see someone, and don’t want to see them anymore, you just have to hit them.
Thats wrong, it sits on 7.0 so there is more than enough bullshit driving around that is almost immune against this shitty gun.
@@Einheit101 Agreed, but fortunately all of the 8.0 tanks that can ruin you are often dragged into 9.0 games, so you're usually pretty safe.

If Izreal can have a Sherman with 400mm of penetration, at 6.0, Germany can also have the 10,5 Tiger 2 H
except the 6.0 sherman has no amour and the king tiger is some of the best amour in the game with its fire power please use critical thinking
@@betz6684 Most considerate German main, they complain when they see HEAT slingers but they have no armour + HEAT damage sucks ass compared to APHE.

It has the best manuvrability at its br but sadly it VERY inaccurate it shoots all over the place I'm not sure if it's always been like that though

I think this would be a neat to add back as an anti- T29. I have the T29 and I think adding the 105 Tiger would be pretty cool to have a Tiger with basically the same weak spots, same canon caliber, and same BR
I hate the T29 I mean it's a cool tank but I hate facing them and don't know how to kill them I'm a Russian/German main but I dabble in Japan and play a little America here and there just so I can get the stupid thing 😂 but I got top tier Japan before Russia and Germany so I guess I'm a Japan main I don't know how that shit works I usually just avoid them 😂
@@ToXicKush420 ok, the T29 weak spots are it’s mantlet, lower front plate, and machine gun n upper front plate, hope this helps, this also goes for the T34, and T30 weak spots. I don’t know how much pen you need for these areas but I do is that’s where I’m killed the most from the front.

i have the tiger 10.5 and i can say its so much easier dealing with American and russian heavy tanks the 88 is great but lacks the pen to deal with them

Be the BEST teammate
Get first place on a winning team without killing ANYBODY. Only assists, repairs, scouts, base captures ect allowed.
Tanks, planes all allowed. Artillery kills count as a kill so an automatic fail, and of course you are allowed and ENCOUREGED to have a helping had to eat up the tanks you neuter.
I think the only caveat to no killing is you are allowed to shoot down planes, but only with non AA, because part of being a great teammate is being great, and great players dont need AA to kill planes.
Goodluck, I look forward to seeing, if not success (the math might actually be impossible, no idea) I am sure it'll make a lot of fun coop chaos for us.

This was a wonderful video and great to watch. I wish they would make old vehicles like this available again for GE so everyone could access them. even on the marketplace would be better than not at all even if that is pc only.

Easily My Favorite Tank to Play!
Of the “rare 4” (I include the E100 with the 3 removed) the most slept on is to Coelian. The 10.5 is OBVIOUSLY good, and the Panther II is good being many misidentify it as a Panther F so the trust their armor too much. But the Coelian is a vehicle that both planes and tanks see fire and assume it’s another weak armored AA which just feeds kills. The thick Panther armor, enclosed and decently armored turret, and great post pen/impact damage is so lethal. I’m not even a great player and I often get 7-10 kills with it, often from confused enemies.
The 105 king tiger is my favorite tank in the game, i have landed shots with this thing about 2700 meters.
The long format was pretty enjoyable to watch. It sounded like you were sucking on a boiled sweet in the last match though😂.
I fucking love this tank. At 7.0 its a beast. Even its biggest drawback, the reload is not an issue since it's on par with other heavies in this tier. But its mobile one shots everything, has a rangefinder, decent armor. Perfect. Glad I got this before it got removed.
In the first match odd sat in that once place killed half the enemy team yet not one of them made an effort to hunt him down tells you how bad they communication is. I noticed the teams no longer calling things out when they die they just ignore it and leave team mates to drive to their deaths

I really wish Gaijin would bring these vehicles back. Even if they make it so every can pick only one of them to have, if that compromise would work.
I remember a team mate dropping a nuke and i was in my BF-109, idk how but as the end screen was going my plane flew straight in the nuke camera at the end of the game =)) it looked epic

The KT105 is one of my favorite tanks in the game. A shame that it's off the tree, and a double shame it isn't 6.7 anymore.

I would love to see at least something like the e100 and the maus be brought back and the e100 should get amore accurate turret instead of just getting the maus one so it's actually different rather than just basicly being the same with side skirts

Technically BawZ you have the rarest tank in the WORLD! The Königstiger 10.5mm KwK is actually the E-75 Standard Panzer or the “Tiger 3” if you will

I played the Maus with 4 random people from discord and we obliterated the enemy team in a downtier. Got 9 kills and all my crew, it was an awesome game.

Im going to love and hate this series. I only started playing when the 38cm Sturmmörser was a BP vehicle and I had no idea what I was doing and missed it. I really hope they added at least the removed tanks like the panther 2 and tiger 105 back one day :(

Being part of "the old guard" I'm lucky to have the tiger 2 105. I also have the maus available to purchase if I ever want to. Don't see much point in it though because it always has to fight things with ammo that doesn't care about its armor.
