The German Tiger II 10.5cm is a pretty rare tank in War Thunder nowadays. Much like the Panther II, it was removed for being a somewhat fake vehicle. Gaijin essentially made an amalgamation of design proposals. It shouldn't really be able to function as it is modeled since the breech clips into the rangefinder.

The tiger 105 is immensly satisfying to play, one of my favorite unlocks. You see something, and you dont want to see it anymore, most likely wont be seeing it anymore after one shot

one easiest tanks to get 6+ kills on average. Tank is noticibly mobile and the armor is stupid proof against most regular APHE or AP shells.
I love the 900hp engine more than the gun lol
Im pretty bad at positioning i guess, because playing it as a heavy doesnt work for me nowadays, especially in higher BR. I have to really "baby" it and play as a TD with no armor to do well.
Kinda annoying, but still fun. Modern munitions is a b*tch.

Just as a fun fact to note about the 105 tiger, it also doesn't have the weakspot underneath the back of the turret that can be penned by SPAA as it still has the old armour layout

Yes I haven’t seen American desert or Finland in ages. That’s ok though because I’ve gotten Eastern Europe and Poland with snow 8 times!
I don't think it's really something "wrong" per say but just how map rotation working as intend. There's Q&A or something very long time ago in which Gaijin explain the map rotation, for every minute the server will rotate what map it will give to the queue player therefore minute 1 get map 1 minute 2 get map 2 and so on. But the problem is the map rotation are finite so map 1 will rotate back say minute 15 and if you were unlucky to queue at minute 1 and minute 15 you gonna get the same map twice.

You could honestly make a full series on just fake vehicles not only that never existed, but were entirely made up and designed by Gaijin themselves. Often to the point of them making 0 sense.
Most vehicles in game are realistic, with the exception of modern vehicles because we ah e no idea what their actual capabilities are
we don't have any more tanks that are just made up and not even on paper
you can count imaginary vehicles in current WT with your fingers lmao, like japanese R2 series, Sweden's automatic 120mm thingy, and tiger 2 Sla.

This is really good as a tank destroyer rather than a heavy tank, the rangefinder is really good for making consistant first shot hits at 1.5km or further

Armor's pretty good, it's just that people are pretty used to shooting this thing's turret. Try wiggling the gun and the turret and they won't do much to you unless they're launching post war potatoes.

Spookston, you forgot to mention the higher caliber when talking about the penetration. Higher caliber = far better angled performance and spalling incase of solid shots (though I think APHE also does spalling damage even when not overpenning). The small extra penetration also helps a ton against Soviet and American heavies after 6.7 as that's when they start catching up with armor.

at 6:00 he didnt pen your roof, he penetrated your weld line. gaijin considers the exact point where your armor plates meet to be 0 armor.
As this was the only tank i REALLY wanted from the german tree, when i joined 4 months after its removal I became a sweeden main instead of a stereotypical german main.
We should unite and shand up against Gaijin for this heresy. Either all tanks for all players, or burn in hėłł corpo fřiçkş.

Glad I snagged it before they removed it, while I do think they shouldn’t have bothered removing them. If they are sort of in the game then just leave them in. There are still plenty of completely unrealistic tanks and planes that serve no major purpose either but they remain.
Find as many players that agree, like me, as you can. Start a serious movement. Nothing will change because of a mere YT comment.
Their purpose is to generate revenues for Da Snail.

I once got a game where 3/4 of my team were in planes, and I was playing Germany. After they all got shot down we didn't stand a chance and an enemy got an nuke. This is certainly one of the games of all time.

5:32 the Tiger 2 has weak spots on all weld lines that are visible on the tank, and it just so happened that there is a weld line on the top of the turret where he shot. Its a 1 in a 1000 shot but the man hit it

It's a pretty fair sidegrade to the Tiger II (H), or maybe the Sla. 16 if you include the extra horsepower - for those that have it anyway yeah lmao. I'd be interested to see you play the Conway though Spookston - the 120mm L1 is a ridiculous cannon at 7.0 and (if the APDS decides to behave and volumetric doesn't decide you deserve nothing) can punch a hole in effectively everything it fights, and the thick mantlet plate can be amusingly trolly in downtiers. It's also got a higher top speed than the normal Centurions by 2mph for some reason? But yeah would be cool to see you try it and hear your thoughts!

For me i think I'd prefer the shorter reload of the 88mm. if it doesn't one shot, it will cripple their tank, and make it much easier for you or someone else to finish it off.

May I suggest the Breda 501 since you like rushing forward and being behind the enemy line. It also have the 90 mm Cannon and recently got up BR to 4.3

Don't know how many players know about this but just letting ya know that the Zis-43 got moved to 2.7 a few months back and personally I belive it was put there soley because people didn't know how to use it. It would be interesting to see your opinion on it(I also think if I'm not misremembering that it is the lowest br vehicle you can do wagers with since it is still makred as rank 3. Its the main reason I play it)
I'd missed that. In AB its still a 4.0 and... who expects to see a 2.7 in tier III. Is this the vehicle with the widest dispersion between AB and RB?
It’s the same deal with the L-62 Anti II in the Swedish tree. I adore that thing because it has absolutely monstrous SAP rounds that are one shot central, and it is also rank III for dailies.

It’s so satisfying going from sniping out crew members with 105 afpsds to 105 aphe where once you penetrate a mortar shell explodes inside the tank.
Great video as always! Please remember, that a lot of people are not for the "War Thunder content", but are for the "Spookston content". WT can be a bitch to play sometimes, so it's nice to take a break from it once in a while. If you do more variety content (doesn't even have to be tank related) a lot of people will go with it. Seeing you do stuff you wanna do will still be fun and entertaining, that's for sure. Stay safe and stay healthy out there (both physically and mentally)

Hey big papa, you should play the ARL-44. I had to grind through that thing, and I want you to love the french engineers as much as I do. Giving it both vulnerable cheeks and a giant flat plate on the turret were ingenious design choices. Love the content btw.
I remember only a few days ago gaygin put out a patch note that literally only said "fixed audio bug where ground vehicles make no engine noise" or something along those lines and that was the only thing on the patch note. Good to see they're keeping to the theme of not actually fixing anything but goddamn did it really take like a week to not even fully fix a simple audio glitch

The gun in game is in the rangefinder, but that is just the standart gun model, irl they would certainly have made it like the Panther Schmallturm where the gun has the recoil cylinders under the gun instead of on top or side by side.
