thanks Lance , could you tell in the video that I did the white wash to it ,, and did you like it ,, or is it just me that thought it really high lights the brick ?
Thanks for the suggestion of diluting the paint with more water for the mortar joints. I think I did that some time ago but forgot about it. Guess I should read my own notes. Can't remember a darn thing in my old age. Good Video
the six I have take up a lot of room , but I like it , mmmm 3 more stalls I might have to put them at the other end of the layout ,, my address was in one of my videos ,, send away ,,,, I know your kidding ,, thanks for watching
My turntable is already in place and I am sure there was originally a round house there, so fitment shouldn't be a problem. Do you think this roundhouse can be built without the floor? The track is already in place on my layout.
that first part I did has the placement for the rails , so I suppose if you made some cuts around that area you could be able to fit in exsisting track , or build it all and cut out the floor from the underside ,with a zip blade , but the build itself starts with the floor and everything is based off of it ,
thank you , I am a little new at building kits of any kind , so it did turn out pretty good , I learned a lot putting it together ,, like look ahead to the next part , and take my time ,,, that was a week and a half build
What is the distance from the edgeof the turntable to the back of the round house and the back of the shop. Walthers footprint and instructions are confusing. I have my turntable and want to print an actual size print for my 12’x6’ layout and verify my layout has enough room for the turntable and round house as is. Is it possible to use two roundhouses instead of the addition of space is an issue? Thanks I learned many things watching your video now I will watch the turntable video.
I like what you have done. I am painting mine just like your doing, I love the color inside, kinda wondering what the doors that open would look like in black.. Your doing a great job. I’m learning off you and a few other guys. This is my first roundhouse. When my husband saw the color trusses, he loved it. I like when you show or tell of your mistakes, it help us newbeees
poor guy, now he is totally lost now with both instructions lol, I am sure that his wife will build it for him lol Sorry big guy we have seen the wonderful work you have done in the past Jennifer White train bug
well done. i like that you went back and added text to clarify or add tips
What a fab structure, but that beast is h-u-g-e !!! Well done Sparky!

thanks Lance , could you tell in the video that I did the white wash to it ,, and did you like it ,, or is it just me that thought it really high lights the brick ?
2 thumbs up sparky... well done.. looking forward to the next update.. vinny
might be a week or 2 for the next video , have to really take my time , once I cut into the layout , that's where it has to go ,, no turning back then
Looks like a good piece of architecture.
thank you , it sure will be a eye catcher on the layout ,, lol ,, has to be it is huge

Wow! great job, looks really good and now for the fun part TURNTABLE. cheers Robert
that should be the next video , might take a week or two , but it's coming
Outrageous build Sparky!!!! Having a Round House in the yard will really give your layout a prototypical look.
Great build. Looks really good. I'll send you another 3 stalls. They come "weathered" lol.
the six I have take up a lot of room , but I like it , mmmm 3 more stalls I might have to put them at the other end of the layout ,, my address was in one of my videos ,, send away ,,,, I know your kidding ,, thanks for watching
I need one of those on my layout. Thanks for the inspiration to do!
the 6 stalls take up about 3 feet by 2 feet , so that might help you in the PLANNING too ,, wow this thing is big

Gotcha, and thanks again.
Nice project David , you look to done a fine job in spite of having to read Instructions and being careful with the glue ...Dave
thing was , I was not careful with the glue , so the doors were a real chore to install ,, I hope it helps others with this kit
Cool project. Makes for a large round house.
Gary
ya I didn't think it was that big , until after I built it , just hope it fits through the door into the basement now
awesome job, fun to build
really great work ! I like the Walthers Roundhouse !
it was a bit of a challenge , being just my second kit build , and adding the extension , well fun
great to see a build series on this, thanks Sparky
A nice model to have and looks great on your layout. One I would consider for my layout
Looks awesome man! Nice video, was very fun to watch. Learned a thing or two as well.
that is one thing I going to try and do ,, small things to look out for , when building some of the kits ,, what do you think of the white wash ,, ??
+sparky107107 looks good!
Wow, it came out great!
thanks , I don't know how well it shows but the white wash really makes the building pop
Alright YOU build a nice roundhouse.
thank you , I am a little new at building kits of any kind , so it did turn out pretty good , I learned a lot putting it together ,, like look ahead to the next part , and take my time ,,, that was a week and a half build

Would have liked to see you installing the doors. It seems it will be a bit tricky when I get to that point.

Nice job on your round house
Cheers Ron
thanks Ron , was a bit of a challenge , but had to get it done so I can fit the turn table
looks good! I have to 3 stall roundhouses but not a six stall. good job so far.
do you have it in a video , feel free to share a link to it here
+sparky107107 not yet but its a good idea...
I just got an old metal 3 stall roundhouse kit. It's going to require a lot of soldering unfortunately lol
great video mate looks great are you going to add detail inside as well or maybe latter down the track cheers. Andrew
that will be later down the line , the next step is getting the round table in , up and running
your vids are very good....well made..👍
thanks for the comment ,,
Hey sparky ... NICE video!
Nice job sparky I have the same kit to build but in n scale that should be fun
Csxmad is doing this kit also. But he is going for 12 stalls. Check his build out to
how do u fix the track in the house i'm building the rail shop now
Finally started to build couple of the kits your have. lol Who will have them built first, you.Scott
I have seen your collection of kits , do you have the room for all of them ,, lol ,, and that is the question I am asking myself too
Is it possible to do all six stalls as the longer stalls
they only give you enough parts to make 1 long stall.
poor guy, now he is totally lost now with both instructions lol, I am sure that his wife will build it for him lol
Sorry big guy we have seen the wonderful work you have done in the past
Jennifer White train bug
Nope. That was all me. It really helps when there are pictures to follow along with
Don’t worry I talk to myself too😭
