Is it possible to upgrade the battery any further than from the original one from the manufacturer? Is it possible to take out the hdd enclosure and throw in a larger battery for example?

Question : Does both fan spin at the same time in your unit? We have the same model and since I bought this laptop, only the GPU fan is spinning. Cpu fan is not spinning which is bad because it keeps on thermal throttling.
....return it under warranty if you haven't already. If you're not able, you need to have it repaired. If you took it apart, is that when the fan stopped spinning?

So I suspect that my fans gpu fans stopped working. Can I open that too and try to clean them? I haven't cleaned them since 2019 and its now 2023.. Or should I take it to the repairshop? or should I return it to Acer repair center, I think my warranty expired..
@@saman8342 The answer is that you have to pry around the edges with a thin plastic tool. I used use these little guitar pick looking things that came with an electronics repair toolkit. Once you get one clip to pop out, you can just slide the pick along the edge and get the rest to pop, then the cover will just come off.
slice DOWNWARD with plastic tool when the notebook is placed like in the video. Acer refuses to provide service manual and their service centers only takes your notebook inside and do the job. Luckily an old employee was willing to chat with me.
Not really a helpful video for general disassembly when they show just lifting the bottom off - where to start prying and how? Best method + tools used? Thanks for nothing...
I couldnt open my laptop. Ine of the corner screws was too worn out even though ive never touched it lol. But seemed to be easy to pry open from the bottom, where the mouse pad is
@@justmemyselfandi7760 There are certain places of the laptop where if you just stuck a pry tool in, you could potentially do damage. Some people recommend starting in certain area's of devices where specific clasps are - some are designed to be easier that way. Thank's for the snide comment.

U can upgrade any suitable m.2 ssd up to 4tb just try to get a pcie 4 and add it in the pcie labeled slot

You can try it with the plastic thingy that covers the part where you can put a network cable in.
