  • Winters in Vermont can often seem never ending, and so can the chores that come with this frigid season. I wanted to share a little bit of what my winter routine is like, and the chores that are involved to keep everything going through this season. There's a lot to do when I am not writing! I stay pretty busy this time of year. I hope you enjoy watching my process! Please tell me below, what kind of chores do you do during the winter where you live? What is your favorite thing about this time of year? I would love to hear about it in the comments below. 🙏❄️ I wish you joy in your journey, friends

    🏄 A BIT ABOUT ME 🌲
I don't call myself an author because I don’t believe in labels.
I believe that story is art - that it's sacred, and that it is and has always been a force that changes and shapes our world. That's why I write, and that's why I create videos (even co-produced an environmental film). I consider the world my home, and enjoy submerging in unique cultures nearly as much as I love submerging in the ocean and riding the waves. I am the author of the young adult urban fantasy series The Blood Race, and am currently working on several new series's. Though I can be hard to find, I am easy to reach (and very fun to talk to) at: kate@kaemmons.com

I used to cut wood when I was younger, that was our only source of heat at that time, God I miss that.

Why don't you use a log splitter? I mean, splitting each log, with an axe? You're making it much harder than it is. Work smarter, not harder. I don't get it.
You won't be splitting logs when you're 60.
