Dam really cause my mate wife was giving birth he had to run to hospital driving fast after work to go to hes wife police pulled him over then let him off with a warning but helping to get to the hospital quicker by speeding down the road and that was in london

American police deal with very different criminals. They're harsher on criminals than we are here. Hence the classic situation of a standard traffic stop going very wrong, most crims over there think it's worth potentially dying if it means escaping another sentence. Our criminals are often not as bold, and the access to illegal guns here is a lot more limited than the states.

its a min of 7 years for having 1 and a min of 10 years for shooting 1
He got less because off the shotgun being broken down into 3 parts you get less time as they can do anything with it in that state
It's actually a minimum of 5years by law, but I have never seen a case where the person has got more than 5years without further offences....
I'm confused though, did he have a SGC? Because for such a small sentence he must have had one. But if that was the case why did they mention it?

They don't change the sights based on what situation, unless it's well in advance. At the start of their shift, they book a gun out of the armoury, the gun comes "as it is", they can't get to change it, or add silencers, etc to it. They just have to check it's functioning correctly, the barrel is clear and it's not likely to jam and has been serviced properly.

At least make the punishment fit the crime. I saw on another video where a guy axed in his neighbours door and other offences only to be issued with a hospital order without time limit. There was a man in Essex I believe that chose not to close his business and didn't move away quick enough for their liking. he was then grappled with 6-8 officers and then thrown around and then chucked into a van, his wife who was recording the whole thing was then manhandled as well. You are treated harsher if you were to mingle with some close friends without a mask than you would be if you assaulted, damaged or caused serious offences which may have actual lasting problems. Make it make sense.
Except the police have nothing whatsoever to do with any sentence, they just collect the evidence and present it to the CPS, who authorise the charge in this case, the magistrate, or jury and judge in indictable or triable either way offences decide on the guilt and the sentence.
