thank you for making thus video. I know it is short, but it is exactly what I wanted to see. just bought my first pair of louboutins and went looking for sole protectors on amazon. But in some of the reviews the sole protector actually damaged the bottom of the shoe went people removed it. Thus started my youtube search for the right sole protector, but not many people show the after video where they remove the protector after having worn the shoes for sometime. So thank you.
Nubia Sista No problem!! I will tell you though, with honesty ... I was EXTREMELY slow and careful and it didn’t seem like something I would want to do regularly... I own 3 pair of their dress shoes now and use the Zagg protectors on all... This video is so far the ONLY time I’ve taken them off a pair. I only wear them on more special occasions and sometimes to work (like once every 2 weeks and rotate which I wear) so I’ve only worn any given pair about 15-20 times. I’m sharing to say that I think the protectors are going to last for quite some time... like long enough to make it worth having them on. If the protectors eventually get bad enough to have to replace and I’m unlucky enough to remove paint, I still think it was worth it because they e looked basically new every time I wear them so far, which was my goal! If that did happen, I would probably pay to have them refinished like new and then repeat the process... if I only got like 5 wears or so, it would obviously not be worth it but for me they have worked long enough that I’m happy!! Sorry if that’s a long message lol
I just bought my first pair today. Did you buy the Zagg Invisible Shield screen protector for yours? And if so, how are they working out for your Louboutins?
honey daniels. They work like a charm. Iv’e worn my shoes 4 times now and the zagg protector is still in place. U can’t tell that it is even on. Been telling my girlfriends about it and 2 of them now use it for their shoes. Definitely buy it if u haven’t already, trust me u won’t regret it. I didn’t.
Bobby Allen lol. It’s an insightful message that I appreciate. Have only worn my shoes 4 times since my first comment and that was a month ago and the protector has held up. Just like u, I don’t plan to wear them that often so I agree that the protector should last for some time in which case it will have been worth it. Thnx!
@@dissyday1234 these old school “wet apply” Zagg protectors are getting almost impossible to find now… I’ve got 3 extras for future use but I haven’t personally tried anything as an alternative. I have seen “shiny red vibram” as an option to replace the messed up soles and I’ve heard good things about it, but again no personal experience… just something maybe to look into. Seems like a good option once they’ve worn down, whereas the goal of the Zagg protectors were to protect a brand new pair
So I have quite a few pair of their sneakers (you can check out my other videos) and I don’t put anything on the bottom of them. I do, however, wipe them up after each use and scrub the white part of the soles with sneaker wipes if they get too dingy. I don’t wear them every day and I rotate them out, so they have stayed looking close to new for a while!

Nubia Sista I want to try it. Have you removed them from the shoes? I’m scared it’ll peel off the red paint.

Acá en #Ecuador no hay esos protectores que mencionas, pero qué otro material podría usar para proteger las suelas de mis Louboutins? 🙋🏻♂️🇪🇨👍🏻😚🙄
