One thing I dislike about most singers, is they feel the need to _always_ have the spotlight on them. To be fair this is often the producers idea, and or the audience if they're that tone deaf. It takes more confidence (and artistic vision) to share. I think he's pretty kewl for stepping back for a few mins. Besides, tea is yummy. ^-^

On May it's going to be 8 years, exactly 8 years since I found this band by accident and watched this exact video, I completely fell in love with them and I still love them to bits, no band ever has made me feel the way they did, God, they're simply awesome

That to me is genius in composition, and something you will very very rarely ever hear except when listening to such greats as Mozart or Vivaldi. With so much focus on the guitars though, I have to point out the drummer is fantastic too, and as someone who started out trying to sing in bands (later switching to guitar), I give much respect to anyone with big enough balls (be they male or female) to go up onstage and deliver a great performance. Hizaki is a better composer. Malmsteen has a stronger and more fluid attack. Hizaki looks better in a dress. Both dress in an 18th century retro style. I agree neither is a copy of anyone else, and what they have most in common: is that they are being themselves and doing what they love regardless of what anyone else thinks. That is what sets them apart, and why the light shines through them, and so many love them both.
Hizaki and Teru shredding guitar and Jasmine you-des playing the low rumble of the bass guitar and then there's Yuki's steady drum playing. It's an amazing master piece.

Japanese audiences are peculiar like that. For many live shows, they aren't as lively as say...a Western audience might be. Many rock and metal concerts can have audiences just as active and crazy as those in Western countries might have, but during certain performances, the audience might be quiet and still as a sign of respect and to show they are giving the artists all their attention.
