I love how in this universe, floppy disks are the most advanced storage device, while duel disks and holographic monster projectors also exist.

America's nuclear launch codes are kept on floppy disks. It's because there aren't too many floppy disk readers in the world so if it gets stolen it'd be a bitxh to use.

And the fact that floppy disks are so low tech that they are nearly goddamn impossible to actually hack into by anyone outside the system. So regardless of Norse firewalls or countermeasures the nuclear codes would be safe in the occasion of an attack

I dunno if you people remember, but for actual everyday purposes, you didn't use CDs for data unless you were happy with it being read-only, because burning CDs was a lot more hassle than saving data on a floppy disk. Though some people didn't figure that out for a while.
My father was a teacher back then, so we had access to the school library's DVD writer. It helps that the school only had about fifty students in it (outback QLD life, woo!)

TBH I'm super proud of LK and OneKids for not only making 2016 the most consistent and episode-full year since 2009, but also *keeping* that momentum going for a second straight year. This is only the second time in the series' 11-year life that the amount of episodes hasn't decreased year over year and everyone involved should be proud of that accomplishment.

I just love how much quality storytelling there is for a abridged series. Atem and kaiba have a believable developing relationship and the episode does a good job showing their similarities while being subtile enough. And good scene making duke useful other than being a driver. Even rebeccas believeble progression in character. And kaiba is a good example how to use an over the top character.
I am sure martin could do his own "original" series. Or he gets hired by dc they need peole who can write good but entertaining characters, other than gunn.
Joey is growing increasingly self aware. Watch him break free from his programming in the future.
