I generally have always purchased new cars with one or two exceptions. After 4 yrs I usually sell it privately. I disclose everything as accurately as I can so I don’t waste his/her time as well as mine. I provide all maintenance records with invoices for all services and any tires or battery I may have added to the vehicle. Just do your due diligence and you should be fine.🇨🇦

Only questions I ask are is there any check engine lights or mechanical issues. Anything else is irrelevant and will depend on your knowledge of cars or the knowledge of the mechanic/person you bring.
