AFTER WATCHING GRANDMA VENTURE WHEEL AND DEAL I'M SITTING HER GRINNING.😊 WADE HAD ME AFRAID OF "HOW THE STUFF WILL BE PRICED" AS HE WAS SHOWING THE UNITS. SOME OF HIS "GUESSTAMATIONS" WERE REALLY HIGH. SO I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE PRICES HE WOULD BE ASKING. I HAVE A NEWFOUND RESPECT FOR GRANDMA VENTURES. SHE HAS A "NATURAL TALENT" FOR PRICING, SEEING THE NEED. AND MAKING SURE TO MEET EACH CUSTOMER'S DESIRE FOR THE THINGS THEY WANT. THAT TALENT COMES STRAIGHT FROM GOD.😊❤️

It's wonderful to see you interact with buyers, it's great to see your huge garage come out and how in the end it becomes "take it free", although also the first few days someone always gets "give it free" when Gramma asks if that's all she/he wants. The video is great, the result of all the effort is great... and now I hope that Gramma's mother is better. Greetings from Spain.
Thank you for such a kind message. I am sorry to say My Dear Mother had to be taken off life support today and I already miss so much my heart aches. She was a mother and very dear friend and confident. It means so much when you send her your best wishes and prayers. Means everything to me and I thank you so much!

It is truly very sad for me to hear about this great loss and although I did not meet her in person, I can see the result of her life in the people who remain, those she educated and raised to become who they are today. That's why I know that she is not only in photos or videos, but also in good memories and hearts. I hope that those wonderful memories of her do not make you cry more than should, but rather make you smile when remembering her.
I love that Grandma's getting stuck in, I done lots of table tops and always made money, because like Grandma I enjoy the interaction with the buyers

If you end up having a hard time getting rid of books, I would recommend donating to a library or school. (I'm in college to become an early elementary school teacher, so I've been working on finding good deals for books for my future class.) It would be nice to have at least a week's notice next so I have time to make plans. Less than a weeks notice makes planning kinda awkward, especially if you have multiple people's schedules to plan around.

@@karakirkpatrick8468 it happened last week. (I wish they would give at least a week's notice for the date so it's easier to schedule around it) I just know clothes and books are generally hard to get rid of in yard sales.

You should donate to habitat for humanity and others like that. Some church's will take clothing, household items, and bedding and towels for families who have had hard times and need help from lose of homes from storms and other tragedies. A lot of them will come and pick things up. You guys are awesome!

I wish I lived closer. I'm in Kettle Falls, WA. Just on the other side of Lake Roosevelt. Up near the Canadian border. I up cycle clothing into bags and totes. Especially jeans and shirts. ❤

You guys do a great job with your garage sales but I've noticed how lenient you all are on prices. Even the prices you give out are really really good then the customer asks for lower and you agree. That's why you didn't make your 3500! It's good to go back and forth but wow your prices are way awesome!!!! Maybe it's just me though? Oh and no furniture makes a difference as well.

There is always that kind in anything we do these days but I find such joy in the good people that make it a point to come back and see us every time. They become great friends. I could list so many cases like that. I have such a wonderful time doing these because of those people.

I kind of upset with grandma Ventures’s because I emailed her and told her to let you know I was really interested in the two tall silver vases and she stated to me that you gave them to her and if I go on her posh mark she would auction them off and I could bid for them. I am looking at your garage sale and I saw she sold them there. Thank you for listening. I would have bid more than she got for them. Pam Omsha
I am sorry because I thought they were different ones not those. There's so much to deal with and so many people and both my parents have had serious medical problems Im a little overwhelmed. I am so sorry.
Please give grandma a break. She has just lost her dad and she would never intentionally upset anyone. I think she has done exceptionally well to still be functioning. Please show her some kindness.

We had so much to get rid of and yes I do give a few things away to our neighbors and kids. Our neighbors put up with their driveways being blocked and Kids get a discount! LOL Wade always does well and some stuff is given and it does bring people back and they buy something too. It all works out don't need to be greedy is what I think.

How do you keep things from being stolen. I know our city wides there is people that load a bunch of stuff in a bag and walk away with it. Also the possibility of someone robbing you, or grabbing the money and running? You mom just sets with the change box, purse right there! Do you have a money pen to check for forged money? Do you post not responsible for any accidents? Should have business cards.
So true. We had yard sales for years...a lot smaller and people did steal.
Give to the homeless
We give to lots of charities and We give all leftovers away free in ads for Monday after the sale but we give different places all year long! Wade is a person that actually gives way to much away but that's his way!!!

I think if you had several sales with not as much at a time it would go better. It’s so unorganized. No one wants to go through clothes that are stacked and spread out like that..

We did that once it isn't what you think. They come with a lot of like items and want it all for a dollar not worth the trouble is how I felt when we tried that. I also try to make it fun for the customers and me. Surprising that was not. Most people at our sales if asked what they think gives more than I would ask for. A lot of regulars so I know how most will react in advance. I forget names but not faces!!! Have a great day.
