You saw lots of Bo's Coffee in Cebu because it's a homegrown brand, owned by a Cebuano businessman. It is the first and oldest local coffee chain founded in 1996, one year before Starbucks arrived in the Philippines. Its first store is in that mall (Ayala Center Cebu) as a kiosk and still operating today next to Nike and Bershka. Today, it is the country's largest coffee chain which has since expanded in Metro Manila area and other cities. It has also gone international with over a dozen stores in Qatar.

CEBU is the country’s #1 most visited tourist destination, and for good reason. It is unrivaled in offering the widest range of things to do and attractions. Cebu is like the “Jack of all trades” among tourist spots in the Philippines.
You can enjoy scenic natural sites (waterfalls, beaches, mountain views, etc.), have exciting wildlife encounters, join a colonial heritage tour, shop at some of the World’s largest malls; world-class hotels and resorts; indulge yourself in local food including the prized Cebu Lechon! You can do all of these easily while staying at a luxury resort in Mactan Island, centrally located hotel/airbnb in the city, or a peaceful beachfront resort in the countryside. Your choice!
Cebu lives up to its moniker as "The Gateway to a Thousand Journeys." There isn't a shortage of explorations to do in Cebu. Cebu offers a unique travel experience as it is a place where the city and paradise meet. Cebu the one and only The Queen City of the South and of the Philippines. The First and the Oldest city in the Philippines. The First Capital of the Philippines. Cebu City is the Cradle of Christianity in Asia. The Tourism capital of the Philippines. The gem of Southeast Asia. ♥️👑

Way to go! I never expected a foreigner to use the words "stink" and "excited" in the same sentence with reference to durian. It speaks volumes of how astute and adventurous you must be as travelers willing to try things outside your comfort zone. With such open-minded curiosity, every new and unfamiliar experience must be a marvelous learning opportunity.

The main mall of Ayala Center Cebu will soon undergo renovations most probably next year. The Terraces, The South Wing and The Roof Garden will stay the same as they are later additions. The main mall has never been renovated since it was built 30 years ago in 1993. Unofficial news have it that aside from the renovation of the main mall, it will also undergo expansion by demolishing the existing car park building (near Seda Hotel) to give way to the new annex building for the mall.

Welcome to Cebu! I live here and let me tell you that SM City Cebu opened on 1993 and the Ayala Mall on 1995. Another fact, that stage at the foodcourt in SM City Cebu was once an ice skating rink back in the 90's when it opened. And you could find a mini roller coaster in the area where the houseware is now.

I think durian is the only fruit in the world that is not for everyone. I tried so hard, a lot of times before to like it but I can't really swallow it. My system just refused it, I don't know. I even tried it in candied form but still the aftertaste that lingered in my palate made me puke. So I finally gave up and accepted the fact that durian is only for certain individuals with indiscriminating taste. The only two fruits grown in the Philippines that I can't stomach are dorian and cheese fruit. The cheese fruit may not have an offensive smell as dorian but its smell is like no other and I can't stand it as well.
