Hope you guys enjoyed this one! Make sure to check out the HUGE Black Friday sale over at detailgeekautocare.com!! See you next week for something even dirtier! 😄
Your Chrysler comment made me laugh out loud!! I was thinking ‘who buys a new Chrysler let alone a used one?’, then you said that! 🤣🤣🤣 Phenomenal job, it looks fabulous. Once the owner fixes the rust, easy fix, and drops in a new engine, it may run for a good 3 years and look very nice. 😈 Have a fab weekend! 💚🍀 from Belfast
These older sedans who haven't been detailed even once in their lives are always the best videos! And the interior components tend to clean up really well as they're usually pretty durable. Another excellent detail--the new owner should be thrilled with the results.
What’s amazing is Chrysler have always been the lesser of the big three. In the 50s the 60s the 70s they’ve always been something that isn’t quite up to bar. When the Road Runner, Super Bee or Charger was the hot car in less then a year and little puffs of gray smoke would start coming out of exhaust. Valve seals..just cutting a corner. If that wasn’t enough in two or three the fenders would be rusting off. They just were not quite as good as a GM or Ford product was.
@@robertsklenka5823 The only Chrysler product I have owned was a Plymouth Reliant. (1970s ?) Perfectly named. I was reliant on my neighborhood mechanic to keep it running.
I can hear a Chrysler or mopar vehicle rust on a loud night. Mopars of that era are notorious for rust. If it's lived in the rust belt and never been washed, it's 100% guaranteed to be a rust bucket.
@ Pretty normal for an uncared for car in Canada (although he is not in the worst part of the country IIRC). It’s not the mileage, it’s the age of the car. High or low mileage, a 10 y. o. daily driver might just rust the same…
I’m gonna get my first (definitely used) car in a couple months, and I HOPE it’s not like this, and if it is, I hope my regular household carpet cleaner machine will work as well as the carpet extractor in these videos…
Such a shame about the rust on some of the cars…you do well to stay motivated to make them as good as they can be. Fingers crossed some of them go on to have a bit of money spent fixing them up.
I had such a Sebring as my first car. Drove it for seven years and it´s always been reliable. Mine was dark blue with 2.0 Gasoline engine and five speed stick shift. Traded it in for a 300, wich is a pleasure to drive. Thanks for the throwback, greetings from Germany 🙂
Ah, so rust stains on the carpet, that came very clean. The seats looked brand new when you finished with them. That interior was pretty rough. Hope the new owner can turn a profit on this car. Your work sure adds a lot to the new price since it turned out so well. That was a lot of brown water on the pour. Good job Mitch. It's nice to see a basic sedan clean up so well. Hope you have a great weekend. I bet you have snow up there. We just got some snow, but it melted. Stay warm, hope you're using your fireplace. 💜
Hi, Joel, nice to see you here. The Classic Chrysler improves nice transformation. Have a great weekend, my friend. Stay warm and be safe. I have a plan for the events this weekend. 😊
Hey Joel! Yep, we actually just got hammered with a pile of snow this week and there's more coming tomorrow. Bobby has been busy clearing snow that's for sure 😄 Got a good one coming for you guys next week! Can't wait! Have a great weekend!
Having lived in Texas for decades, the rust rotted rocker panels brought back memories of living in the north. It doesn’t happen here unless you live near the gulf coast. You did a great job spiffing this old girl up… ❤
Mitch you really do good work, thanks. As far as this one though, not worth it to me. I can only imagine what undercarriage looks like after seeing all the rusted out rocker panels, wheel wells and door bottoms. Hope the new owner has lots of money or time to put in it. More than car is worth.
I had a 2008 sebring hardtop convertible in silver steel color. It was a blast and very sharp ❤I bought it with 42,000 miles on it, turned it in with 98,000 miles on it had zero problems with it. Got out while the gettin was good…
You did a great job; however, I wouldn’t touch it because of all the rust! This car must have come from an area where they have snow and salt the roads. You did your part.
When you live in an area that gets a lot of snow in the winter, which means there’s a lot of road salt on the roads, you can expect to have a lot of rust on vehicles. You can also get a lot of rust on vehicles if you live near the ocean too
Im always amazed at the transformation. Your videos have made me want to go the extra mile when cleaning my car. Also, i have loved the playlist you play, i had to go on a search of some of the songs, and because of you, discovered Giants nest. Now its a part of my daily listening. Lol
I have a question🤔 what do you listen to when detailing? I know you said you always have music playing. However, I was wondering if you listen to podcasts as well. Great work as always 🫶🏽
Claims he's a Country Crooner...but his choice of 🎵🎶❤ Hallman's suggests otherwise. He probably listens 2 a variety including his own outro jam sessions.😂
I think you did an incredible job.. considering what you were working with. The owner will probably be very surprised on how well it came out. "Good job"
Literally sitting in a 2008 Chrysler Sebring that hasn't been cleaned in years as this video came out. It was given to my friend for free but I need to fix it first, but it's really funny how well that upload lined up.
The 2007 Chrysler looks great transformation. Mitch, Keep up the stunning work. Hope you have an amazing weekend. Stay warm and well. Take care of yourself. 😊❤
Hey Cynthia, I hope your "friendsgiving" party is fun. It's so cool that people bring food, so you don't have to make everything. I bet it will be a great time. Enjoy the time with your friends!!!!
Hello there Mitch. It is always a pleasure seeing you and watching your awesome videos 📸. You always know how to bring these vehicles to life every time. And I admire you for that. Thanks for everything you do because your hard work and dedication is very outstanding 💪👍
Hi Mitch for what the car looked like before I think it cleaned up pretty darn good even the carpets look a lot better than they did awesome job as always Mitch have a great weekend
I found one thing that works for me with doing headlights is sanding them out Meguiars makes a headlight restoration kit if you ever want to look into that get the one with the drill attachment in it it will have a wool drill attachment pad.
I have a couple questions. 1. Do you take breaks throughout the long details you do or do you detail without any breaks. 2. Have you ever detailed a car from the U.S. or is it just exclusive to residents in Canada. P.S. I apologize if you answered the question already. I’m still in the process of watching your videos.
Appreciate the content! Wondering if you've tried the bug spray hack on the headlights, and then a quick polish afterwards..? I thought the hack was wack, at first, but, it works! Seems to dissolve the top layer of plastic, and must be wiped off quickly after applying the spray. I don't have a buffer, and am wondering if it would make a bigger difference in the ultimate finish...
Hey Mitch!! Curious about your garage floor!! How long have you had it and how is it holding up?? I'm contemplating using it in bathroom floors in our new house because there's no grout. Would you recommend it??? Thanks!! Fantastic video, yet again, friend! ❤❤
All our vehicles rust like crazy here in Canada. Winter roads with salt take a beating on our vehicles, even with oil guarding. A lot of people here have "winter beaters". Cheap cars, full of rust, put on the road in winter, to save their newer vehicles.
I won't go so far as to say that was a diamond in the rough, but you still did as best you could. Hope the owner can turn some kind of profit thanks to your hard work.
Great job. One thing I don't understand though, is why people in Canada get such run down cars professionally cleaned. Here in the UK, that detail would be worth more than the car. That's if it was even considered road legal.
Great video! Love watching them. Question...I see the shoes you're wearing seem to be waterproof. I am looking for just that type of shoe. Where do you get them and what brand, please? Thanks!
Hey Detail Geek, this video should be played to max 2x playback speed lol with every cleaning stage. So cool to see instant change in a few minutes of it lol. Can’t understand a thing you say but still hilarious.
Great detail Mitch. Once the seats were installed they covered all the rust spots. If the owner wants to sell it, he may want to spray the carpet with spray carpet dye. Happy Thanksgiving from your US viewers, or a month n change after Canada’s.
Hope you guys enjoyed this one! Make sure to check out the HUGE Black Friday sale over at detailgeekautocare.com!!

Agreed
Was just saying I like the car.
I laughed out loud when you suggested someone might like the clean car "even if it’s a Chrysler."

At least they lasted longer than Redpath.
@@robertsklenka5823 The only Chrysler product I have owned was a Plymouth Reliant. (1970s ?) Perfectly named. I was reliant on my neighborhood mechanic to keep it running.

I'm always amazed at these interior transformations. Too bad it's still a rust bucket.
Sadly. That's a lot of rust for what is less than 125,000 miles too. (Shows at the end 199,841 km)

Hi, Hope all is well with you. Have a great weekend.
Have a great weekend Botdog! The magic does continue.
Thanks again!
That car is absolutely a mess, especially how much dirty brown water comes out of the Home Depot bucket, keep up the good work
I am so glad they dont salt the roads where i live
Such a shame about the rust on some of the cars…you do well to stay motivated to make them as good as they can be. Fingers crossed some of them go on to have a bit of money spent fixing them up.

I watch your videos all the time and always curious what the interiors look like once they’ve dried
Speaking of dried, I have always wondered how long it takes for the seats to dry before you can sit on them without getting your pants wet.

As Always Amazing!!!❤💯🥰
You did a great job; however, I wouldn’t touch it because of all the rust! This car must have come from an area where they have snow and salt the roads. You did your part.
Good luck on this used Chrysler detail, Mitch. Give this Chrysler a turnaround it never saw coming. Great transformation.
It’s finally Friday time for another great weekend. Enjoy the weekend, Mitch.❤❤❤❤
Great job Mitch. Interior looks awesome. Ashame that old Chrysler is so rusty. Have a great weekend.

His shop is in Saskatchewan, so I would imagine if you drove up from the U.S., he would probably detail your car, with an appointment of course!!!

I really like when people see it first time after you clean car up 😮

Looks great😊
Wouldn’t the steamer with a brush attachment do some more work on the carpet stains ?
It can, but it's fairly rare it does much. When it does show improvement though, that's when I'll film it and include it in the video 👍🏼

Something about cleaning rust is satisfying to me
What a change! But what a rust!! Is this allowed to drive?
I love how he says 'exterior isn't too bad' whereas most other countries wouldn't allow it on the road with that much rust.
All our vehicles rust like crazy here in Canada. Winter roads with salt take a beating on our vehicles, even with oil guarding. A lot of people here have "winter beaters". Cheap cars, full of rust, put on the road in winter, to save their newer vehicles.
If you're from Europe, you would be shocked at what North Americans allow on the roads.
That would fail inspection in the UK. The sills (what you would call the rocker panels) are considered structural.
Aye, Happy Friday people!! 🎉
MOT fail for sure. Sills are rotten.
You got those carpets cleaner then I thought possible.
Nice work as usual!
Honestly if it wasn’t for the rust and scratched hub caps this would be pristine

Mitch, do you use a stiff brush on the end of your steamer? I'm always scared of scratches. Excellent job as always!
Love the Chrysler comment Mitch. Body work, it needs new rockers and whatever else.

Drove a few of these in early 2000s as rentals and they were very nice and comoftable vehicles. Too bad they werent too good mechanically.
The interior looks gruesome, good thing that you're there
What do you recommend for those people who live in the rust belt to prevent rust on your vehicles?
Have you ever tried using a CLR mix on the rust stains?
Iron oxide remover(for car paint) works on carpet too. Which makes sense because car carpet is made of plastic, just like the paint.
Judging by how much rust was under the carpet in this one, trying that may have led to a Fred Flinstone situation.
What’s with the plug sticking out from the engine is it supposed to be for the battery since it has issues or smth?
Great detail Mitch. Once the seats were installed they covered all the rust spots. If the owner wants to sell it, he may want to spray the carpet with spray carpet dye. Happy Thanksgiving from your US viewers, or a month n change after Canada’s.
Wow, that wheel cleaner really rocked it.
Chrysler really went down in quality after 2002. I had 2 Dakota RT’s A 92 le Barron convertible and 2002 Sebring limited convertible.
headlight covers so foggy could lights even be seen when turned on ?
