Got so many goodies ready to install and couples of trips scheduled ahed . I’m in Wa , so first one gonna be in Alaska ,can’t wait. Drop my old multistrada and swap for this beauty. I bought the 2021 after my 2019 1250GSA got stolen in October 2020. As of January 25th there is still no delivery date on the new bike because of the brake issue. I've been waiting 4 months. You may want to consider the Denali set up. The full kit comes with D7's, tail lights, canbus and a sound bomb horn. I had this set up on the old bike, it was fantastic and you can get the full kit for around $1100.
Thanks much Robert, I will look into it. In a former life in a land far far away we mounted a train horn to our vehicle...it was absolutely ridiculous. Wish I could do that with the bike. Sorry to hear your bike got stolen and about the wait....seems to be hitting everyone.

Had both the GS and GSA back in Australia, the 1200 models, now have about to buy the new 2021 GSA low suspension, am only 5 ft 6in, but love the bikes, what a fun bike to own, enjoy the bike, am sure where you live there will be a lot of dirt riding to be had, here in Texas (dfw) mostly flat and boring. Regards have fun.
Agree beautiful bike. Stop sale is legit. My dealer says just a caliper swap. Easy peasy. I'm back and forth with the new Multi V4 Duc. Just want to make an educated decision it's almost 30k out the door. These are great bikes! Great dog too!!
I agree, should be a simple fix but because it isn't'...that tells me there is probably more at play here. In any event the end users are being ultimately impacted and that's not good.
I appreciate this video... paid for mine, making payments... however bike sitting at dealer as bmw shows a grossly incompetent response to a recall, putting theyre dealers in financial ruin as well as many moving on to makes and brands. Total bs!
You would think this well documented issue would have been quickly sorted. I'm sure there are other factors at play but as stated, what you have is the end user pissed off and without a ride.
great video - thx! Regarding the spotlights, i swapped mine out for clearwater lights. They are much better. I run them all the time for safety and they wire directly into the Cambus which is nice.
This is what I have heard too, since I already own the bike I expect a recall letter (or similar) of some sort from BMW...at least it's winter and the riding is scarce.
Wouldn't bother changing the exhaust brother, bugger all difference really. I would only focus on items that would prevent the bikes components from being damaged. Checkout "Teapotone" on youtube as he is a Vlogger and BMW GS owner. Has great idea's. Beautiful bike brother. Stay safe.

My brembos are waiting at the dealer for install, I'm just too busy riding to get in there to get the swap done. Maybe later this month.

my high beam and fog lights went out. turns out it a computer problem. they have had my bike for two weeks now. 2021 GSA 40th edition. 3700 miles.

Yes there is a stop sale in place currently until the dealer gets the new Bremen brakes and installs them.

My understanding from my dealership is that Hayes calipers will be replaced with Brembo!

I've owned black or red bikes primarily, for me the white is a nice change.
