I'm quite surprised you fit 'customer supplied' parts, we never used to, and I'm pretty certain no dealership in the UK would ever fit anything not supplied by themselves. Honda stopped making pads, and air filters for my bike many moons ago, so it's EBC and HiFlo (the only air filter make I can find) for me 🙁 The good news is Honda still make the oil filter, and drain plug washers. 🙂
"How do you buy cheap aftermarket stuff instead of the right stuff?" When you go to do brake pads on your HD Pan America and the dealer tells you the brake pads are on indefinite backorder and recommend aftermarket. EBC goes in instead of Brembo.
I would be interested in why you feel Amsoil is not a good oil to use. I do use brand specific oil in my bikes knowing I can get it everywhere but have used Amsoil for years in my Burgman 400.
what u don’t like Amsoil bud that’s all I use in both bikes it’s made a big difference love it I use the primary and trans oil also Harley oil is crap I’ll never use it again
