- This is a 100% Longplay of Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Nintendo Switch playing the Original Wii Version not the 3DS Version.
All of this was played by myself. I played through the whole game perfectly collecting everything (KONG Letters, Puzzle Pieces, etc.) without taking any damage, not loosing a Single HEART!

Doing this game 100% is difficult enough on its own. But doing 100% and not taking any damage? You are truly a pro.
Not to mention using the nunchuck controls. Those are definitely sometimes a bit different in games like this

Mine is the beach. It has the level of creativity and effort that Tropical Freeze has in most of the game. Every level has multiple cool ideas, every level looks quite different despite being in the same world, every level has it's own music track, I love it.

I have played this game a thousand times and I didn’t realize at the beginning of the first level on the Beach is that you can see the Jungle. Nice attention to detail!

Don't pay attention to that normal gold medal in 1-B. Trust me, it is actually a shiny, your eyes are lying to you.
@@legrandliseurtri7495 I did too. Both on wii and 3ds (original and new mode). Is that a bug for 1-B ? Cause I do remember how unintuitive the technique you had to do was to get shiny gold.

Technically it does, because at the start menu there are the extras, like additional music and images, and to complete that, you need the puzzle pieces

i love both games, but i hate the bonusrooms, they ruin the flow of the perfectly designed levels,... hope they release both games in a bundle for switch 2 in 4k and remove the bonusrooms,...chances are low to zero but at least i can hope for it :D

I mean, one could argue that 100% this game requires you to get the shiny gold medal in every level, but then almost no one on the planet can actually say they've completed DKCR to 100%. Well, I actually could still say that, but most wouldn't be able to.

This game was once given to me after my mom had to traded my copy of New Super Mario Bros Wii to her friends thats 14 miles away. and the amount of times i die in this game. I would immediately abandon it to just rot. And trust me New Super Mario Bros Wii was harder than this.
