I have severe Game PTSD when I see the Crowded Cavern stage in a video, i took approximately 144 tries to complete it with all the kong letters and pieces. I had my dad literally write down tallies on how many times I would die.
17:50 Me as a kid when I had to beat world 4 to complete the rest of the game: The only thing that I could say that I like from the caverns is the boss because how well is built: - If you're skilled enough you can beat him faster by jumping into the moles way before your minecart gets close to them automatically. - The well implemented changes in the background, moslty in the third phase that everything gets dark and you only get light from the mole's helmets and the crystals behind the stage.

Probably we'll get a new Donkey Kong if there will be one lol but yeah, this game deserve a remaster, more than Kirby's Return. Too bad Donkey don't get praised enough at Nintendo HQ.

4-2 is so cool with 2 players going different routes iscool
Having these kill you in one hit was an… interesting design choice to say the least.
