It's an Onyx CTY2, right down to the battery voltage and the motor controller (kelly controller). The CTY2 on the other hand will hit 53MPH (after controller tweaks) with a 240LB ride (me). Too bad Onyx shut down after the owner died last December. That bike only cost $3600 when not on sale and if you were lucky to get it on sale, it was at low as $2800.00.
Yeah, this bike has a unique style and flair to it, but $3500 of flair and style? I have both an RCR and CTY2 and they're rock solid, look great and perform amazing. This is RCR pricing for CTY2 performance.
I guarantee if you strip the "bling" that only adds labor cost and needless complications, keep the performance, and let the owner do their own aftermarket customization, you'd sell twice as many of these in half the time.
$7K for this is a bit much, by 50%. $4K at the most IMO.
Eroy just went outta business too
Reminds of the Ristretto 512 but more expensive!
At 5:26 you said you're not gonna see a bike with that kind of performance in that price point, i hate to sound negative but fam all ebikes in that price point out performs it. The motor goat at just slightly over 2k for example has the same performance. Your bike is nice though.
Not to mention the Lyric Graffiti X which launches next week for half the price. I’m interested to see how the 2 bikes compares after reviewers get their hands on it.
What's the amp hours on the battery? That's an important detail when doing a review also the size of the controller. Details about the components would be helpful
use the pedals, they give a little boost and you get a bit of exersize!
Great review of a great E bike
Thank you, Ken! Glad you liked it.
You should look into the motor goat v3 its ALOT cheaper for the basicly the same performance i got mine for 2100 XD and also sidenote i heard there out of business from frantctv
Are you worried about the product support if Eroy has gone out of business?
🤦♂️ it sucks eroy had the power and suspension geometry right looks basically the same as the p51 I can’t believe they failed smdh
I have simular parts on my Stealth bomber clone, but I haven't seen a frame with a nearly vertical mono shock. Probably really useful to allow more room for a bigger battery.
So there website you can not buy this bike at all or preorder it?
I would get a Honda CB650R or RE SM 650 at this price
This video is really confusing... Are they simply trying to gauge the market to potentially start up again? What's going on? Out of business or naw? Does anyone have the answers?
I don't know about the rest of the bike but those Kenda tires are cheap.
Where did you buy this bike? Aren't they out of business? Why would you review a bike that' no one can even buy?
