Do you think it could actually hold 4 bikes easily? Also, same for the 6...which is more my need. I have 5 bikes for the family, would the 6 easily hold at least 5 bikes? Thats my constant issue with the various mounts on the market

Anything physically preventing you from tilting the rack down for hatch access with a bike on the rack? Or, is it just not advised?

Hello. You're correct, the weight of the bikes on the carrier could pose a risk if the upright is released to tilt down. Thanks for checking.

The safety latch springs are thinner than paper clips and pop off if you touch them with your pinky.

Hello. The rack does have the capability to hold a mix of road and MTB bikes but it will depend on the specific bikes based on handlebar widths, geometry, wheel sizes and other factors. We'd encourage test fitting the bikes on the rack prior to making a purchase. Visit one of our stores to get test fit assistance: www.rackattack.com/stores/ Thanks!

Go ahead and touch those bikes and watch the excessive wobble in the whole rack. Get a solid American made Lolo Rack.
