This, and your Walking On The Moon tutorial, are both awesome - but are the patches still available? I'm not seeing them in Tone Central - looks like they got dropped, which would be a shame. I would buy the GT-1 just to host those two presets. I guess I may try to recreate them from the documented notes in the articles.
Cool stuff! But for some reason this made the patch so loud. I had to go to my play screen and turn both levels down to around 30 to get it even with my other patches. But of course now I lost some of the sustain. Did I do something wrong? I tried it twice from scratch. 🤘🏻🎸
Hi Parra, I do play with the gain stages at each part of the signal chain to get the desired result (i.e. running a pedal a bit hotter into the amp, running different volume controls in the amp at different levels to get more of the compression/sustain that you are talking about). So the answer is I don't think you're doing anything wrong, it's just my screwy way of getting a similar result from a simulation that you get from real world pedals/amps.
Anything's possible Sean...but I haven't done one yet. I'll get to it! When you have a moment, check out the other patches I have for the GT-1 here: www.guitarfxpatches.com
Hi Mate, I haven't done one for the GT-1 but here's the 'Cliffs Of Dover' patch for the ME-80... www.guitarfxpatches.com/downloads/me-80-cliffs-in-the-style-of-cliffs-of-dover-eric-johnson/
Beautifully done! Thought the pitch shifter was broke but sounds perfect once the preamp is dialed in.
Hats off for using MIM strat. The working man indeed! Hahah. I love the Gt1 as well, it is massive tool in my channel.
These are great videos thanks man. Getting mine tomorrow:)

Thx for the video. You turned on the FX1/comp for the one step down pitch shifting. How does it do that?
Hi Stephen, the FX1 effect section contains many different effects including pitch shifting.
