You move anyway - so long as you limit that 1 action to movement the damage penalty from churning is minimal. Also note that your actions aren't counted until the card above your head begins to countdown from 3 to 0.

This fight is pretty simple all things considered. If I were you I'd just join a Learning party. I'm by no means a hardcore raider and I got through it after like 4 wipes with a random learning party before any guides were up at all. I believe in you man.
tanking him in the middle gives you even space on all sides to place the thunderhead aoe. tanking him on any edge of the arena presents a dicey situation if the cloud spawns close to Susano. you'll have very little room to avoid the thunderhead's line aoe no matter where you point it.
Indeed. As a melee dps who got targeted by a thunderhead that spawned opposite side of me and i didn't have enough time to run to the complete opposite side of the map and was pretty much fucked regardless since no matter where it landed on my way there it would have hit someone.
What damage does Passage of Arms actually mitigate? It doesn't seem to work at all on the "primal ultimate hits" which was the #1 reason I wanted to use it...
On the Primal ultimate it's pretty much worthless. Using it on unavoidable raid wide damage, and stack mechanics is recommended. Alternatively, you can use it to just have guaranteed blocks for 16~ seconds, this isn't really worth it since you can't attack while doing it, but I've found limited uses for it.
42 runs so far and have yet to get below 10%. I think it's fair to say I know the mechanics. Now just need to get the rest of the dps to learn them so we can beat the timer.
Hello good video however not sure why I'm getting killed in a certain part, if anyone could explain that would be lovely, trying to solo it. After the active Time Event, a large red line AoE appears where he swings his sword down, I get one shot no matter the amount of damage reduction/ distance I stand away from the AOE. Does the party share damage with that AOE or am I missing something?
This fight cannot be done solo as while you are doing the active time event someone else should be dpsing the sword. The boss one shots you if you fail to dps the sword in time.
do you actually need to leap across the gap with the electricity? everywhere else the thing on the ground affects you regardless of if you are in the air or not
If you play a melee or caster/healer, you have role skills that make you immune to knockback (surecast for healer/caster, arms length for melees). I play ninja I use this, it helps a lot
Andrew Joy and make sure the tank's health is at least 55% or higher for tank buster i noticed while tanking that it always knocked out half my health even when I parry with defense buff.
Andrew Joy you can solo tank as any tank on this fight but you are just gonna be a scrub and stay in tank stance, having both tank stay in their dps stance and do the proper swap is way more efficient in terms of speed killing
Just to add, if you're affected by churning you have to sheathe your weapon in addition to stopping all action and movement. Edit: Ok so you don't HAVE to, but sheathing your weapon is a good way to ensure you don't auto attack.
Not true, if you just untarget him so you dont auto attack, dont use any abilities and dont move your fine. I've never sheathed my weapon to avoid the mechanic
if you are staying ontop of your GCDs, you dont have to stop or do anything you just keep going like nothing happened and it wont hit you. the idea is to have your GCD cooling down as the churning goes off. if you have good timing then you dont have to lose a single second. git gud.
this is not true. it will be the fourth rock on the list, starting from Susano. in the event that Susano is not at the top of the aggro list, the correct rock is the one directly above him.

Yea. People so far aren't staying for more than 2-3 wipes. Less than 20% each time and then the domino effect starts somehow.

When i go for the orbs on Blades Shadow, i take about 25k damage each one and die before i get to all of them, even with CD's. What do i do there?

use Passage on Ukehi while off tanking (every second Ukehi), while main tanking use Divine Veil on Ukehi.

It can be kind of a pain to get maximum dps in this fight... since susano has you dancing around so much.
I think the enrage timer is the real mechanic. The others are pretty simple and very straightforward but have you running all over the freaking place.
You either need to drastically increase your DPS or find better raiding partners...
For the most part my dps is fine. ilvl 310 melded up the wawhoo. Just pug groups pretty much suck. None of my friends are even close to done with 4.0

You don't actually need to jump at all, as you thought it will affect you exactly the same either way.
It's a weird but understandable habit since it does look like a hole. But it's a good visual cue for those that haven't noted the markers yet.

18k rdps is probably the *absolute* minimum. Your DPS should all be at 3k or more.

yes. Susano wont always be at the top of the aggro list. it's uncommon but it does happen.
