I was involved with finding many of those who slipped through the cracks in our Rolls of Honour, and I am very proud to say that it was one of more fulfilling things that I have done with my life. Yet I still feel sad that it has taken us so many years to give recognition where it is due. My heart goes out to those families that never had answers, but considering how many years it took to find answers we are fortunate to have achieved what we did. I sincerely hope that more families can find closure with this memorial, and that they can be assured we have not forgotten them and we honour their service. Thank you for this video, it was very moving and I hope that the team involved could call up the records and tell those families where their loved one rest.
