    Hey Bobby Lee👋 You guys sure got a lot of rain and storm damage down there. We haven't had a drop of rain here in northeast Tennessee for several days. Hate your hickory tree got blown down. My dad and brother used to squirrel hunt a lot when I was a little girl. Mom would stew the squirrels, and make the best gravy to eat with biscuits! That's a nice tractor for you and Willis to use on the farm. Before you know it, he will be old enough to drive it as fast as kids grow! He's such a cute little feller the way he likes working with you! We'll catch you on the next one!

    To rake the arena, use a quad to pull drag harrow. That's what they used when my daughter was in OHSET! LOVE the new tractor. And smokey is such a darling...makes me miss my Baby. Keep the videos a coming...LOVE them!

      Yeah, we just need to find a light weight harrow. We have a base layer of gravel underneath the sand, so we don’t want anything that’ll go too deep.

    "The cow of death" c'mon now, she's just a protective momma. _REALLY_ protective. And at least you don't have to worry about any calf in her vicinity getting predated by anything, I'll bet lol
    Sorry about your trees.

      Yeah, I don’t mind her attitude too much, but she is a little annoying

    Those heifers are looking good. And that new tractor is really nice! The nicest thing about the Kubota tractors is you'll never lose them in the field. Blaze orange! The other problem with used tractors and vehicles lately is they're so dang expensive, cause of the inflation, it's not that much of a jump up. Then you get a warranty. I'm gonna check out that Agzaga. God bless and eat beef. - Everett

    I’m in my 70s and I assure you that years ago you could cut hay by the weather man’s forecast. I am certain that the weather satellite is a half bubble off. They have been predicting weather for some other area, not ours.

    Nice tractor. The 0% is the reason I bought the new Baler instead of a used one, couldn't turn that down.
    I am looking at possible getting the same size kubota next year. We need a smaller tractor to do hay with and feed cattle. Does that new tractor have DEF?

    • @HurricaneCreekFarms
      @HurricaneCreekFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No def. I think over 75 hp has def. This one has the dpf and has to go thru the regen, of course.

    Where did you get the custom ear tags

    • @HurricaneCreekFarms
      @HurricaneCreekFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cattletags.com. Takes them a few weeks to get them printed and shipped. We usually order before the end of the year & they have them to us before we start calving

    • @HurricaneCreekFarms
      @HurricaneCreekFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bought them in March out of Kentucky (all off one raising- directly from the farm where they were born). Exposed to two calving ease angus bulls. We’ll have them blood Pregnancy tested here in a few more weeks.

    🇫🇷great kubota and surprised not to see a JD or Case. Even fendt our class … Congrats … Is it linked with a kubota dealer nearby ? How is the price vs a JD or Case ? Really cheaper ? May be not at all … Eat beef and Good bless

    • @HurricaneCreekFarms
      @HurricaneCreekFarms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, a lot of the decision is based on what dealers we have nearby. First Choice has been great to deal with. We have good Deere dealers in the area, too, but they are significantly more expensive. For this size machine, Kubota is top notch.

    ABI Arena Rascal Pro for the horse arena!!!!!!!! You can set any depth you want and works like a champ!!!! And guess what........Made In The USA!!!!!

    • @HurricaneCreekFarms
      @HurricaneCreekFarms  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I saw that I inquired about one, but it is a little outside of our budget. Probably going to go with a simple harrow.

    • @HurricaneCreekFarms
      @HurricaneCreekFarms  ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah, and we have one for the tractor, but the problem is that we dont want to take something as heavy as one of our tractors out there. We want something that we can pull behind the side by side.
