@@ExtraTxt I feel like I have so many food based/restaurant apps and shopping apps because it feels like you need a different thing for everywhere in order to get the points or the rewards or the freebies etc. Part of it is definitely my own fault because I am a sucker for free stuff

But I'm definitely stealing the "remove from the home screen" thing, I somehow always forget that's an option. I just have LOTS of folders
@@laurenrussell Aaah yeah I deleted those a long time ago. I think it also really depends on where you live. I live in NL and we have loyalty programs but they are mostly linked to cards with barcodes and I just add all of the barcodes to my password manager and then leave the actual cards at home. I deleted any shopping apps from my phone because I found myself shopping online all too often and now it's limited to something I can only do at my pc. I don't think restaurants have loyalty programs here (or at least not that I know of) so I can see how all of those would quickly stack if you need all of them on your phone
I did not know that focus modes could have different homescreens 😮. I love your use of widgets. I’m going to explore those and become a productive girly too!
I know some people think this is a bizarre approach, but to keep myself from just passively jumping onto social apps, I uninstall them (except Discord). When I need them for a work purpose (or when I just really want to zone out or check something out) I reinstall them then uninstall them after using them. It really increases friction, but not so much that I can’t use it for what I need.
I never understood why people loved focus modes until I realized you could use separate home screens!! It’s such a game changer 👏🏻 I’m excited to see you in your productive girly era 😂
I wish I could do the uninstall part- I love the strategy. Sounds so peaceful haha. But unfortunately i know myself and my adhd en out of sight = out of mind. I would just never post anymore 😂😂

I struggle a lot with the 15 more min on instagram... so to fix this, my boyfriend now has the code and i don't. When i asked him sometimes he doesn't say no but i have to go ask him and i usually dont really need the code so i just do something else. I am also more attentive to how long i use the app (i have 50min for socials) because i know that if he is not there, i better not be scrolling in case i really do need the app later in the day ! i also have ADHD btw ahah hope that helps and have fun at Rock Werchter !!
Aaah I wish that could work but as social media is also my job and I work from home and my partner doesn’t I’m afraid this would not work 😅 But it’s so great you found a solution that works for you!! Sometimes the most practical things just WORK haha

I'm on Android but this was so helpful! I've been wanting to change my settings and revamp my phone. I'm tempted to get an iPhone now cuz it looks so clean 😅

@theredemu same here, but I won't relent and go back to iPhone. I replaced the X twice and lost so many pictures since iPhone can't be fixed.

Love this video! Definitely need to revamp my phone's home pages!! How did you get the Flo app as a widget on the sidebar home page? My phone won't allow me to just click the + button and add it :(
I don’t know why it doesn’t work 😅 I just went to the widget screen, clicked edit, clicked plus and then it worked haha

And everything you say about Notion is why I always switch up apps, Notion is just not mobile friendly :( We always have to find ways around like mobile friendly dashboards which is annoying (and yes I am saying this as I am trying to make a work dashboard on Xtiles :D). We also use what's app a lot in France, use it for talking to family members and friends that are abroad and also to have group texts with people not on iPhone
