Your vídeos are the Best! I'm creating a "crib" in a control gauge for gap and flush, and I was having trouble with some offset surfaces that doesn"t match. I solve the problem spliting the face and using x-form to adapt both to be tangent to the nearest faces! Thank you for the tutorials! It's helping a lot!
So what i figure out about patches and knot is that if there is a particular area on a surface which i want to move and the regular U ,V lines are not there on that location, i can make a line there by patches so as to modify that surface on that specific part ?? Like you can draw control lines in other M CAD softares and then modify them, so this patch thing is something similar in NX or something else ?
This video helped me realize the power of X-forms. Insert knot with Lock region makes life so easier!
Thanks a lot!
Excellent! Cheers.

Thank you very much!
I love hearing about success stories.

Similar yes. It creates a "boundary" on the face. There is a continuity between the 2 new faces and in most cases it remains smooth.
and what is the difference between i form and x form ?
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the questions. I will make a video.
+class A surfacing That would be really helpful. Thanks again for helping.
