    This is so helpful! Most doctors still don't give EBV the respect it deserves considering the scope of its impact. The increased understanding of how complex the human body is will present a challenge to the simplistic model that has dominated health care for decades, but will hopefully lead to an actual focus on health, rather than symptom management. Thank you so much for your excellent lectures!

    This was my concern not to take the covid vaccines. Have latent ebv virus from 1970s. Many years later have severe chronic fatigue syndrome with many studies indicating possible link to past ebv virus as presented in book by Dr Judy Mikovits whom many who disavow her work.. Great lecture from a old student last degree in health ed. Was in 2005.

    So, what does cvd, ebv, hpvs, Lyme, cancers (what else??) have in common? Alot it seems, from how it harms to how to eradicate.
    Antiparacitics should be widely dispersed, but instead withheld, mocked, discredited in this system of meds, grants, money, harm. 🤔

    DR BEEN PLEASE HELP ME!
    I have EBV and I'm testing positive on igm for 3 months now!
    First test in march: ++ igm and ++igg
    Test in april ++ igm and ++igg and +EBNA
    Test in may ++igm and ++igg and +ebna.
    What does this mean??
    I did not have severe acute disease, only low grade fever and swollen glands for 3 days. But I do have inflamation going on in my foot, with what looks like a covid toe and my foot and leg turn purple when I stand. Also I have something that looks like livedo reticularis. All that for 4 months. And then finding out I have ebv one month after symptom onset. I've seen 3 doctors (a rheumologist, dermatologist and a vascular surgeon) and they don't know what the heck is going on.

    The first Covid infection was scary..My adaptive arm had to kick in or else I am not sure what would have happened! My body could not recognize the infection during initial exposure and bypassed my innate immune system! The turning point was after week two..But the battle raged on for another 4 weeks! In May 2020 it just disappeared! 6 weeks of hell! Thank God I survived!

      @@rubyjane8603 Yes, i am having post vax syndrome. But I stay objective. A lot of people have long covid just from covid, people that were never vaxed. It's a fact. Not all health problems are caused by vaccines. And it's dumb to assume that. My story is weird and uncertain. I had a viral infection in July 2021. It was mild but lasted for three weeks. Covid PCR was negative. Then I hurried to do the jab just 3-4 days after my infection. The next day all my symptoms started and I still suffer 20 months after the jab. All my family member who had the vax the same day are fine and healthy. I had only one Pfizer jab, I was too scared to do the second.

    I loved the discussion❣️However, I have IGG, high pos. early antigen is pos. and
    EBV Nuclear Antigen Ab, IgG. Is high pos.
    I thought you said you would have only Early Antigen but not EBV nuclear antigen in a reactivation.

    • @Lesaly
      @Lesaly 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      EBV Early Antigen test is the definitive test for Reactivated EBV infection, but one can have High Abnormal IGG & Nuclear Antigen tests along with a positive abnormal Early antigen test and be diagnosed with Reactivated EBV. I have had this for years & my most recent EBV panel, all 3 of those tests came back positive abnormal/high & my doctor confirmed I was currently going through a Reactivating EBV infection. In fact, the other two tests you mentioned actually back up that it is Reactivated EBV, not an acute EBV infection.

    My EBV got activated at the same time as a flu type virus in 2018. It has been active ever since. My White blood Cells have tried to fight it three times! With atypical lymphocytes. In 2018, and 2022, and 2023. For on average four months at a time I'm with extreme exhaustion in these times. Can't do anything When my body's WBC calm down fighting it ( or give up) but, not putting it into the latent stage I am with fatigue but not like when my body reacts to control it. I can function then. For whatever reason my body can't put it back dornant. I believe anyone experiencing fatigue but not exhaustion with EBV reactivation will find their body is not responding to put it back. EBV is managing to simmer away and evade the immune system realising. I never have fevers or sore throats or swollen lymph glands. Yet the debilitating profound exhaustion.

    • @squareformat
      @squareformat ปีที่แล้ว

      The second time it reactivated was with my Moderna booster in December 22. I have for the past 17 months tracked it as persistent glandular fever. I have basically had Mono three times!!! In 5+ years. All other viruses dormant. No autoimmune conditions. But I have hyperadrenergic POTS now since 2018. Viruses compromise the immune system somehow. The virus or vaccine that triggers it is irrelevant to this EBV reactivation issue.

    When a virus is inactive it can become acrive pretty quicky and inactive pretty quickly. Do some damage and go undetected...
