I unknowingly created the world in 21w43a, but the commands should work in the stable release. Happy Halloween and don't dispose of eldritch horrors down the drain!
"every game tick, a marker visits every tile" I hope this is already how the game works cause that would get very intensive at high render distances...
Not a programmer myself But every game tick with these large amounts of "if" statements got me PTSD from YandereDev xD (granted, YD's case was a lot worse, but with how badly optimized Minecraft already is, i feel it'd be pretty rough on your hardware quick) Still, a good idea, would love to see more like that
Imagine the spider from your more recent video navigating this terrain, updating its legs when the fluid rises. It could partly sink into it or stay on top. Perhaps combine with the tendril, and you now have a harvesting spider that feeds chickens to the sculk pits, or pukes out the sculk fluid after eating mobs.
So hear me out; sculk enemy that's actually a liquid that's based off of slime molds. To do this you could have the source blocks expire over time and have the actual mob be a sort of "core".
i mean kinda? the only major differences are... well, a lot symbiotes only target one creature at a time, not spread around like sculk, they also dont kill their targets, instead connecting with them and gaining their target's attributes

Cool, good job it looks very nice, and well made!
I like your Android juice in the bucket
this would be so cool with the new block display entities
did you come from the procedural animation video
@@Nihilophobio I did :]
@@Edge_2 nicee
@@Edge_2 me too
I was honestly expecting a fluid simulation with the display blocks
Basically how terraria liquids would work in 3d
We need a mod like that! Terraria liquid physics
@@doragonsureia7288TRUUUE
@@doragonsureia7288There already is a mod for that, i forgot the name though
Sculk sludge would actually be such a cool liquid block, imagine it was like powder snow but it damages you faster

Pretty sure the game uses block updates events. There is no event system for commands for the time being.

I like that ender Warden juice
Cum
This is talent i havent seen since TheRedEngineer!
That means I solve problems.
This is more than impresive
the sludge consumes
This should be the sculk we got, it fits sculk behaviour very well
This should be in Minecraft, not because Is Just so cool, but also because we Need more liquid in Minecraft
That would be nice. I can imagine map makers using fluid physics for puzzles.
It’s like the water physics in terraria
I found your post at Mc Steve Posting. And your video editing is just... Simple and very detailed
me when i found the snow biomes with this datapack: guys its the snowy sculk biome
So hear me out; sculk enemy that's actually a liquid that's based off of slime molds. To do this you could have the source blocks expire over time and have the actual mob be a sort of "core".
why does this look weirdly vanilla-like? the sculk sludge looks like something that might actually be in minecraft
If it can change to water, it will be a new water system
That is so cool. Only thing would be better is if it was slightly different texture than Skulk. Maybe a bit darker or the pattern slightly adjusted.
insane
I thought it would consume, but it’s still cool nonetheless
so cool :3
When momd brings home the SLUDGEd
I love it :)
nice
THE SLUDGE
Nice one.
If you drown you will get xp
i just realized how similar the minecraft sculk is to the spiderman venom symbiote
i mean
kinda? the only major differences are... well, a lot
symbiotes only target one creature at a time, not spread around like sculk, they also dont kill their targets, instead connecting with them and gaining their target's attributes
they are not similar in the slightest lol
they are not similar in the slightest lol
So basically it works like minesweeper a little bit
It's de SLUGGEEE 🤑🤑🤑🤑
Sludgey
Hmm.... I wonder, can't we do this with water? I'd much like water working like this instead...
What programming language did u use and what compiler because i am pretty sure mcfunction cant declare int
Looks very cool! Where can I download this?
U deserve my sub :)))
omg
Would there still be sculk blocks?
lol it looks like sludge
Imagine griefers getting hold of this.
oh so we doin terraria now
i am a datapack developer, i may take inspiration!
Scudge
Mmmmm goop
Do a media fire of 2 packs
Vry nic
There's no download in the planet minecraft link in the description
Oops. It should be fixed now.
@@heledron thanks!

minecraft if it was good
What is that? :0
Does it work in bedrock
🗿
skulk block is not liqud it is a block
Yeah, I darkened the texture so it looked less like a solid. I considered designing it from scratch but I’m not that good at art.
@@heledron ok it is fine btw this mod looks so good it is nice
I WANT THIS PACK TO
ME TO
There should be that
Mod
It's not...
You can download the datapack for yourself.
Would it be possible to have this work with all existing snow blocks?
