The essence of entite veda upanishas is Gita . She says varnashrama is all thet sanathana says. How many places does Gita talk about varnashrama. One or two. If fact it says: BG 5.18: The truly learned, with the eyes of divine knowledge, see with equal vision a Brahmin, a cow, an elephant, a dog, and a dog-eater.
If thus sudden attack in Hinduism is due to the caste discrimination, then nonbrahmin were having power since 75 years in Tamilnadu. Why it has not been eradicated. If human discrimination is sin, why 70 percent of world population lef by two faith, were not targeted. Because they are their political sponsors. Sanatana is only Dharma that given asylum to all faith like Jews, parsis. Hindu gas divided society based on work in four. But how. Many distinction other have , nearly 20. Even they do publishes on board, invitation that these sects are not allowed inside. In judiciary itself, woman were not allowed as witness, voter, driver, jobs, dance, arts, study, etc. It still continues, why everyone is silent on those issues. The fudamentals of Sanatana Dharma is based on Vedas and Upanishads. The four varnas "Brahamana, Kshatriya, Vysya and Sudra" are based on one's behavior and not based on caste. There are not "Brahmana" by Varna in today's situation. It is wrong to name the current "Iyer" and "Iyengar" caste to be named as "Brahmana" by varna.

Her understanding is so shallow. Makes general statements with no proper logic and evidence. Wonder how she calls herself a scholar and historian. She inserts the word equity and did not explain why. Curious though. To define Saharan dharma and equate only to dharma shastras itself is narrow outlook. At one point she says not everything about Upanishad is bad. If that is the case, how is it fair to kill the whole thing ( going by her own logic) .
She is neither a scholar nor a historian. She has done some research on Devadasis in relation to Sathir and Bharatanatyam. Irony is someone from the Devadasi community criticised her and it became a Twitter war.

There has been tons of historical discrimination in the past .we should talk about correcting it not eradicating a caste by itself or religion in the whole.
