In this Video You will learn How to Use Geo-Accurate Daylight System in Unreal Engine 5 .
Many Artists use different realistic Lighting Set ups in their workflow, especially in ArchViz. This allows for accuracy in the workflow, which is often required by the industry. An example of it is Daylight System in 3ds Max, but also there are analog solutions in other software.
Well, Unreal Engine 5 is no exception. However, this system (Sun and Sky) is somewhat hidden in the programm and is not enabled by default.
In this video I will show you how to enable it, set it up for your project and animate the sun following the real arc you would be able to see from a real location on Earth.
Enjoy!

Wow your scene looks great! Would love to see how you built it up!
Thank you! ❤
I used "Lisbon Downtown" pack from the Marketplace. I'm already filming a video about how I made those clouds at the end. It should be out soon!
Great one BRO! when are you sharing the next one?
I am working on it right now. Should be out soon!
do you know if we can render the video with a clock and date ? maybe an hud ?
Yes, its possible. I have this topic on my list. Its a bit more technical though, since you need to use a widget and some blueprints logic. Alternativelly maybe set up logic in the material, which would look even better since it will be part of the scene. Now that you mention it ill move the video up in priorities 😉
@@unreal_archviz will follow it with attention, i work in archviz and it's a commom request for light study. It's a bit painfull with vray.
