      PLEASE READ ALL of this❤️ Jesus is the only way to heaven, being a good person won’t get you there. Before you read these next things i want you to know that christianity isn’t about worshiping some deity in the sky because you dont want to go to hell, it’s about a loving and friendly relationship with God. God loves us soooo much no one can understand it. God wants you to tell Him everything, because He is soooo loving. Altough He knows it all He wants you to trust Him and be honest with Him and listen to Him. So now that i told you this read these Bible verses (the word of God) knowing that i’m telling you this out of love and i want you to know it’s not too late to turn and repent and follow Christ❤️❤️❤️ „Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 ESV Bible Repent from your sin (disobedience to God) and turn to God and follow Him so that you WILL be saved. „If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 ESV „No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3 ESV „For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 ESV

      @@DudeMcGuybro I'm not a string player but I'm not getting you at all. Yes it's easier to find a fret than to find a pitch without one but the pitch isn't determined by the frets. The note is in the same spot regardless of whether or not a fret is there next to it. Your finger still has to press the string in the exact right place to get an accurate pitch, the fret just helps you find where that spot is. It's just a guide, it's like a spot on a map. But an experienced player shouldn't need the "map" so much, their muscle memory should learn to find the spot without the "map."
      As a keyboardist, the equivalent for me is playing without looking at the keyboard. Sure it's easier to play while looking down at the keys, but for an experienced player it's not all that necessary.

    • @jonathanveenker6981
      @jonathanveenker6981 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@DudeMcGuybro How is a fretted guitar or bass a fixed pitch instrument? It's not. You can easily bend the pitch by playing away from the fret. Pitch is determined by the length of the vibrating string, and the length of the string is determined by where you put your finger on it. The fret tells you where to put your fingers to get an accurate pitch. You said earlier that a fretted bass has a two inch margin of space on where to press the string, but that's definitely wrong. If you shorten or lengthen the string by two inches it is definitely going to change the pitch.
      Yes I understand that fretted is easier than fretless because the frets show you where to put your fingers, but with experience your hands should just learn where the notes are. It's the same thing as playing piano without looking at the keyboard, your hands just know where the notes are. Difficult at first, indeed.

      To add to what Imre Loktu said, you can get a fretless that still has fret marker inlays on the side of the neck. As long as you know what the inlays on a fretted guitar or bass mean then you should have an easier time getting used to it.
      Or you could measure out where each fret would normally be and just put little strips of tape on the side of the neck to mark them. I’d recommend some decent painter’s tape to avoid leaving any residue behind when you want to take it off.
