Your "vents" outside of the pickup lock-in isn't factory.. and may be leading to your issues with that tank. I have a factory tank with just the pickup, filler neck and breather. Those top mounted whatevers someone tapped in probably to accomodate a different system. I'm still using cam powered fuel pump.
Okay, so I noticed on the Scout I'm working on that there's 4 connections on the bottom of the vapor circulator thing, but just 3 on the tank. Where's the last one on the vapor thing go?
These poly tanks are garbage. Second time I filled it up it ran out of gas at 1/2 tank? Took it back out and the top was caved in so bad it made the sending unit read 1/2 tank and the sending unit never did seal, always leaked gas. Don’t waste your time or money.
Good video! Same issue with my filler neck and vent tube.
Thanks for the insights

How did you plumb the vapor canister in the engine bay?

I will make a fuel pump video and post it! My auxiliary pump works fantastic.
