I have just finished annotating my first book, it was chaotic. I def, need to clean up my annotating, but I appreciate that it is a journey. I do this solely for my self, for having fun and for healing my inner child that was forbidden to even do the slightest dog ear in a book.
i'm so happy you're doing this to heal something in yourself. yes, it's a journey but it's SUCH a fun one
I want to use tabs, but I also want to learn how to write the book and not make a mess. You know right no like you say maybe you’re a picture or something

Love this video I can’t wait to start doing this for the first time for the only book I have ever bought and love so much (the night circus by morgenstern) I’m almost done with my 3rd read of this book and I am NOT a book Re reader or a book buyer lol 😂 I am a kindle/Libby app and audio book girl all day long

i have some of the transparent sticky notes, and it turns out they only really work with ballpoint pens and pencils, which was a bit of a bummer because i only really use gel pens to make notes. however, i definitely think that they'd be useful for those that don't want to write in their books and don't want to block the pages with the paper ones!! i guess it depends on the person. great video!!
oh yeah i've seen people say they smudge if you use gel pens 😕, glad you liked the video!
Try oil based pens for the transparent sticky notes. They work great!

I need the right materials. I don’t want to get a marker and ruin my thing I like all yours I could you can market it, but you can still see the writing
honestly, the scariest part is starting! you dont need fancy stationary you can learn to have fun with what you have ✨️ good luck!! 🤞
