I really cannot thank you enough.. Thank you for saving time for us preparing, recording, and editing this video, though you are very busy with your studies. I wish you the best luck with your papers!
Thank you for the sincere and adequate sharing of the details that only a Cambridge student could know. I have watched some other videos similar to yours, but in them, people mostly talk about some common stuff. It is not useful when you're preparing to apply.
Thank you so much for your video. I applied to Cambridge and I'm waiting for a response, your experience (especially that Cambridge is very theoretical) made me feel good about my decision.
Could you please share some tips/ examples of your note taking please? I’m doing a research heavy course at a Russell group university and I struggle with copying down lines that I find interesting as opposed to summarising the arguments made by the theorist. Thank you :)
Hey! Not gonna lie I'm also still struggling with note-taking! I personally use Notion and in the past have used Genei as well (but Genei isn't too helpful for social science students I feel, they give you AI-driven summaries from journals you upload, but I find it to be quite inaccurate most of the time. I think it works better with scientific/STEM papers) But a bit of advice from my TA is if it's to do with writing essays, try to brainstorm and form your own opinion first before reading too much into the topic and then read strategically around the central ideas of your own argument to find rebuttals or supporting evidence/theories, and take notes thematically instead of scholar-based. Hope t makes sense and helpful in any way! :)
Thank you so much for your videos, Viancqa! I’ve applied for this cycle and all your videos have been super helpful and insightful. I go to Warwick uni so it’s lovely to see West Midlands representation at Cambridge hahaa! Best of luck for the winter break and writing your papers💗💗
may I ask is it hard to get in Cambridge for the master degree program or it depends on the types of the master that I want to apply like the taught master and the research related master and are there any basic requirements for the gpa?

Russell group is UK equivalent to Ivy league in US. Of course Cambridge is academic. Is regarded as probably the best university in the world.
just finished my michaelmas term at cambridge. I am in agreement with you with respect to the uni and ideology. Thank you for sharing!
