Hey there! Can I ask whether you are still studying for your bachelor degree? How does prediction score work? I am also currently a second year study in Bristol who is planning to apply to Oxbridge for my master degree. However, I just feel a bit scared about applying to Oxbridge since I haven’t really have that much experience yet. Do you think a student who is straight for undergrad will be at disadvantage..?
I applied when I was in my final year of undergrad - if you are a current student too, that’s the only time you could apply (re. Final year, and make sure to check the deadline as well). I don’t think there is any disadvantage by going straight from undergrad, many of the students who got admitted to my course are also final year students going straight to master. I’d say it depends on what course you’re pursuing because some do require work experience (which means it’s automatically off limit). Work or organisation or voluntary experience are huge plus - it’ll help you craft the right narrative for your personal statement as well. I strongly recommend to brush up your CV with a couple of relevant experiences before you apply. Good luck!
Congrats 👏🏼 You're such a bright and kind person you deserve all the best. Best of luck in your academic journey.
