About 35 years back I was working in UKP project in N Karnataka, It was backward in all aspects. The fact was they completed Dam,but they neglected to complete field channels, which supplies waters to farmers land . They first wanted big channels works not field channels. It's neglected project. Soil is super to support agriculture, but people are not interested
Historically, NK is where most of our kingdoms came from as the backdrop of any country is agriculture. The soil is rich. No idea why NK is still backward.
