@Waldel Martell considering how easy G5 Bulkheads are to make, keeping both Military Grade and Reactive Surface Composite is a very good idea if your using the ship for Thargoids, it’ll save you a lota money if you mess up in the Thargoid fight
@Waldel Martell its a good idea for the Anaconda and Cutter as well, any bulkhead that costs that much makes it a good idea to keep Military Grade whenever you don’t need resistances
only 3 major critics here, 1. use all 4 Gauss, you get higher dps out of it,(make 2 separate firegroups,one with all 4, then one with only the top 2 for sniping the heart) 2. Thermal vent beams do work on Thargoid for removing heat, 3. after every heart do two things, boost away to avoid the lighting attack, and kill the swarm before you re engage the Interceptor most of the damage you took was the swarm hammering you
@@cmdrchris_lunatic1992 ya, its a bit of a learning curve, but swarms will actually hit you harder if you are dodging the lightning then the interceptor itself will do, they also tear fighters apart, the AX Taipan is your best friend in even Hydra fights, but the swarm will blow it to pieces, if you boost far enough away from the interceptor, it’ll travel in a mostly straight line towards you, that’ll let you flak it fairly easily
MK-2 fights about the same in %%, However can just boost out and use repair limpets to restore hull. About 3 limpets of grade 3A is neeeded for 4 hearts and you end up with 60-70%% hull.
Just in case no one ever answered this for you, it's because it's FAR better to just boost your heat and take the heat damage than to use a Decon limpet. The limpet is just way too slow.

Considering that! To be honest, even now with an engineered Corvette i have a hard time getting rid of the Thargon swarm

to get rid of the caustic just pop a scb then you can either pop a heatsink or afm the damaged modules after you hit over 100% heat
I believe you have to go over 200% heat to burn off the caustic effect.
