Honda right here, man. Honda is the only company making LEGIT quads at this time. All the other ones are cheaply made and only last a few years worth of riding.
I purchased a new polaris high lifter in the fall of 2017. Have 1600 miles on it. Biggest hunk of shit ever. If you off road and go through mud/water you have to take off clutch cover and completely clean each time. Have gone through 3 new belts and now a top shaft transmission bearing and seal are out of it. Get shaft drive equipment. Have had two Hondas, a Rincon 13 years old and a Foreman 18 years old. Still going strong. Hands down they are more dependable and nicer machines. We use our machines for farming and they get used hard, but maintained very well. Beware.

Polaris's are very heavy and the four wheel drive engagement has no progression to it.so it's in full diff lock when you hit the gas. Lots of stress on axles
They've improved them a little by now but to awnser your question ,yes back when you asked. They a few years when quality control slipped ,not there doing good as of 2021.

That high lifter look like it cant even compete with my xt maxx. Really glad I didnt buy a Poooolaris. 1100 miles not one issue no broken axles. No melted gas tanks. Defenetly dont get stuck in the thick mud like this this pos dragging its rear a-arms through the mud. Plus your 850 looks like it has no power cant even throw the tires sounds like a pos too.

If he'd never went in such a swamp hole there wouldn't be a repair bill now plus be without the 4 wheeler until fixed. I guess i just prefer trail riding and like getting where I'm going and back without ending up in the shop and out of pocket unnecessary funds. But if you can afford it enjoy i guess. My Honda 450 will dominate anything. Doesn't matter if it doesn't have as much power. But my winch will when I have to pull out a can-am or Polaris especially

Not trying to be a dick but seriously, I’ve rode with Honda’s and they can’t keep up with the belt driven automatics and IRS, and the rider comfort is definitely far superior
