A few of the holes at Desel's Mud Ranch got DEEEEEEP, but that didn't stop the guys & ladies from attempting them! Thankfully there were no drownouts or rollovers.

@American Patriot don't get me wrong I have dirt bikes and quads I love off road.but I have seen plenty of personal riding areas closed over the years.got land we used to ride on just sitting there nothing being did with it but it's off limits to us cause owners are selfish..lol

Im building a mud rig. With dozer tracks and the engine on the back. Hoping to have it finished by next spring.
Dan Long what you mean dozer tracks? You mean legit Steele tracks?
James Carter like whats on a arctic cat. Yes. Ive been working on it for 2 years.it has Diesel engine . Built in air tanks to lower and raise the truck. The tracks are individual on each side of the vehicle. There is another truck used in the arctic . With the same setup. But the motor is in the front. And does not lower or raise. Im putting together a youtube vid. About how i made it every step of the way. And what it looks like. Only thing left is the tracks. Im having trouble with 4 wheel drive.
Dan Long are you thinking about steering brakes or steering clutches. I would think that with a limited slip set-up that the brakes should work. I'm not sure how you would keep brake pads, shoe's on it because mud and brakes just don't work very good together.
James Carter im thinking of going with a locking style system. Kinda like. When you push the brakes in . A pin pushes out and keeps everything from turning. Im wanting to make it. To where like if the back is stuck the front pulls only if need be. Ive order a kit that can increase or decress power for the front or back when needs. As for as spin wise. Kinda like the little green truck at the end how he ends up almost sinking the ass. I dont want that.
Dan Long yeah but if you do that then you will have to be completely stopped before you attempt to turn correct? Where as with individual brake rotors and 2 master cylinders you could be hauling ass an hit the brake on which way you want to go an keep getting it. But it's your build I just through in my worthless opinion. Reason I ask is because I have been on several different track machine's all the way back to a 77 bombideer. ( Which basically had the set up I explained 2 steering stick's. Pretty cool idea though would like to see what you come up with
