Suzuki Bassonia has been a large contender for the fitment centre with the highest demand for the Des Sol products, namely the 50mm Lift Kit and the Overlander Tank.
Brad and Nigel, left early morning and head to Suzuki Bassonia, a full run down and demonstration on how to correctly and efficiently install both the lift kit and the 80L tank.

Des-Sol's products truly are excellent craftmanship from the product's I've personally seen, I'm very impressed with their products for the Jimny. I still need to get my lift kit done sometime but I do have the diff protectors, 80l overlanding tank, radial cup protectors and roofrack ladder. I did the viper branch upgrade along with the 80l tank. I had my parts fitted at All Offroad Products in Centurion in my opinion they also did a excellent job fitting the items just to give them some credit as well.
Des-Sol's service truly is exceptional and its clear that they are proud of the products they produce, something that is very rare in this day and age. This is all just my opinion about Des-Sol, at least you have the comfort of knowing they use their own products so the surely will be well made and tested, so the client doesn't have wonder about the reliability of the product when you've fitted it to your own vehicle and that makes a huge difference for me personally. Looking forward to my next purchase with Des-Sol!
I can only but reccomend the des-sol suspension. Locally made with great service and a great support.
Glad I bought my Jimny from Suzuki Bassonia and all my upgrades done so far from Des Sol. At least this give me a lot comfort regarding all the questions from other Jimny owners about losing warranties etc. Dealer at least know the quality of the products and the advantages they bring to the new Jimny.
What's the difference between the overlanding kit and the normal 50mm kit?
Our Overlanding Kit includes our Adjustable HD Panhard Bars which make a huge difference when off-roading.
Our Des Sol Adjustable Panhard Bars are manufactured from thick walled, ASTM A106 seamless tubing. Our adjusters are manufactured out of High Tensile Steel and our bushings are manufactured out of Thermoplastic Polyurethane which has a high degree of elasticity and more precise hardness. As a result, our Des Sol product achieves a balance between flexibility, durability and strength required for aggressive 4×4 performance. And the best of all, no squeaking noise.
Our bars are also e-coated and powder coated providing a superior finish and extra coating for a longer lifespan. The complete Panhard Bar is manufactured in house so replacement parts will be readily available “off the shelf”.
