    Thank you so much! It actually helped me second time around! Mine wouldn't do an acrylic piece but by doing a simple cut helped it start back up, and plug into a different outlet. Thank you!!😁

    Thank you thank you thank you!!!! Of course on a long weekend my Cricut decided to play up AGAIN! I couldn't remember all the steps the help desk person walked me through other than the uninstalling of Design Space and re-installing. Because it was the weekend, of course help centre closed BUT you got me going again. So appreciative I can continue to do all the things I had to do this long weekend. 😁💖

    My machine is only 3 weeks old. Have only used it for cardstock. Got a new blade and did all of this trouble shooting and firmware etc.

      You should call Cricut customer service, they’re really good and can walk you through all the steps.

    I had the same problem mid project. I called Cricut and tried all the steps. They told me I had to buy a new machine! I just can't believe it. My machine looks great, has no other problems, nothing jammed or happened. It really seems like a software issue to me but they could not help me. These machines are around $400.00. I can't just buy a new one every time there is a glitch! 😣😩😫

      I did, all of those and more. I spent two hours + on the phone and the rep ultimately decided he could not help me. : ( I really don't know what else to do now... But thanks for putting your info out there, it may help someone else. @@creationswithtory

    I’m currently going through the same thing! I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions nothing helped. Cricut is also sending me a new blade. 🤞really hoping it makes a difference… they told me I may just need a new machine, but mine is no longer under warranty 😭

      Yeah they sent me a new blade, but that didn’t help. I had another cricut that was out of warranty and they offered me a cricut at a discounted price. Maybe they’ll do that with you?

      @@creationswithtory I’m pretty sure a new blade isn’t going to help me either, as I already tried a new one. They said to get back in touch with them if it didn’t help and they would offer me a discount on a new machine. So sad, because my machine is just over a year old…. For the price you would think they would last longer than that and that!

      @@jaisyd776 wow! You should trying calling them again and tell them you would expect it to last more than a year and say, you could at least offer me another one at a discounted price. See if that helps?

    I don't know if this will help anyone, but I just spent a few hours trying to get my brand new cricut maker 3 to work, it passed the test cut, then when I tried to cut a personal project, the blade goes to the right and then the red blinking light appears. Design space says "unload mat". With my last amount of patience I thought I'd try to cut via my laptop (at first I tried from my pc), and after a quick design space update at start, the project cut beautifully.
    So I think it's a problem with Windows 10 and cricut, cause I also have some issues with other devices on my pc (printers). The next step I wanted to try was connecting to design space from my phone (you can connect your cricut to your phone via Bluetooth), but it works now.
    So try to connect your cricut to another device before losing hope.

      I have just received a brand new Maket 3 and am having problems setting up for the test cut. Red light flashing....also sample piece of vinyl feeds in and backs out but it looks like it's getting jammed on the way. I'll try all of these. Running Windows 10

      Same issue. Brand new machine. Can't even do the test cut because of red light flashing. Updated firmware and still nothing. HELP!@@CiaranMeagher

    I bought a new Maker3 because my pen in cut issue couldnt be fixed. I got a new one. To try and make a long story short, I have 2 laptops. One is new. on my old laptop I was able to cut a project out. But when I got home and hooked up to my new laptop I was doing print then cut, it cut that out but when it went to cut the cardstock I got the red blinking light. Called Cricut we did some troubleshooting which didnt help. Cricut replaced it sent me another Maker3 and the same thing happened again. So Frustrating, I am supposed to let them know if this happened again with the machine they sent me. They said they had a lot of issues like mine. My first Maker 3 that had the pen and cut alignment and print then cut issue worked with both my laptops. Not sure why the replacement and the new one wouldnt. Anyone else having an issue where their machine wont work with their laptop now? my new laptop and New Maker 3 having issue communicating. I dont know why My old maker3 didnt have this issue. Thoughts? Help?

      Wow! How frustrating! Sorry you have to go thru all that! I would think there is some kind of update you could do with your laptop? Have you tried calling the manufacturer of the laptop or googling your brand laptop with Cricut issues? Wish I knew! Do you have any updates on the laptop? Hope you get it resolved. I would also google the difference b/t your two laptops and also look in apps and see what’s different? Then google what you noticed is different and see if that could be it? Let me know how it turns out!

    My first cricut machine had issues “communicating” cricut tried to resolve it and after an entire day they ended up sending me a new cricut. They have great customer care.
